As illustrated in the dmwi11gs, 13h6 111ve11- -tioncomprises al1ousing 10 which is provided with an inner cylind=rical ohamber having an integral co-ver 11 Closing tl1e upper end thereof. The housing 10 =may be made 01 one piece .of cast stee1 -of su1ficient thic'kness t0 0fier -adequate protection against efl'orts to gain access 130 ehe interior o=f the housing. The lower end of the housing is open ax1d is px=ovided with -a closure 12 in che form of 21 disc or plug which fits intothe end 0f1311e opening und is locked in place by any suitable means, such as that shown in my prior Patent #1416,179, granted May 16, 1922. A receptacle 13 fits into the cylindrical opening in the housing 10 und is support-ed by the closure 12. When the closure is renrwved, the receptacle may be lowered and removed from the housing. The c1osure 12 may be provided with a chain 14 f01 preventing it from being mis1aid. The upper end 11, as illustrated in the drawings, is dome-shaped to add strength t0 the end 0f the housing and also to permit entrance 0f money through the s1ot 15 which is inclined upwardly and inwardly. 'Ihis upward ihclination 0f the s10t prevents the money within the receptacle 13 from being extracted by an instrument in 0 serted through the s1ot 15. The concave side Vided with outwardly projecting bosses 16 and 17 which provide recesses within the housing 10 and flat bearing faces 011 the outer sides of the bosses. The key 22 is Wedge-shaped .and driveh ti-g'htly into the1 eye 21 so as t0 pull the head 20 tig'htly 1against .the Wall of the recess withinthe boSs 16 so as tosecurethe housing 10 firmly .to -the .p0st 18. The top end of the key 22 may b.e headed at 23 to facilihate driving the key into the eye 21. The invention is especially useful in places where money is collected at isolated points 01 Where heavy safes or safety deposit boxes cannot be maintained, such as at filling stations or small, outlying stores The attendant is not provided with a key to the safe so that it is impossible for him to be forced t0 open the safe at the connnand of thieves. The money from the safe is periodically 001- lected by a person provided with adequate guards und the attendant ab the individual station has nothing to do with c-he removal 0f the money from the safe. As the money is collected, he 1nerely inserts it through the slot 15, retaining only enough money outside of the safe for making change. The money in the safe is entirely beyond bis control so that when the moneyhas once been deposited, he.has no more power again to remove it than does any stranger. The safe is so firmly secured to the -c0nc1"ete foundation that it is practically impossible to remove the safe, although the safe itself is sn1all. In this way, a comparatively inexpensive receptacle is provided which afiords much m0re adequate protection for the mon'ey depositd therein than is secured by a large and expensive safe of the usua1 detziched type.
I claim:
l. The combination with a receptacle5 of an anchorage'member t0 which said re'ceptac'le is secured, means for attaching said re- Ceptacle to said anchorage member, und integral flanges on t-he feceptacle overlapping the edges of the contacting surfaces between said receptacle und anchorage member.
2. The combination with a receptacle, of an anchorag member for said receptacle, at-
"tzichingdevices extending through adjacent portions of said receptacle and anchorage member, the projecting portions of said attaching members being embedded in coucrete, and integral flanges on the receptacle overlapping the 'edges of the contacting surfaces between said receptacle and anchorage member.
3. The combination with a receptacle, of an anchorage member for said receptacle, an
attaching 'device for securing said receptacle and anchora'ge member together, und a wedgfing me1nber for locking said attaching device in place, said wedging member being embedded in concrete to prevent removal thereof.

The combination with a receptac1e, of a hollow post for supporting said receptacle, attaching devices extending through the Wall of said receptacle"and through one face of sai c1 post, a reinforcing member disposed within sa.id post, the interior of said post being filled with concrete so prevent access to said attaching devic es and to prevent said post from being severed.
7. In a safe, the combination with a hol- 10W casing, of means for fastening said casing to a support comprising headed mensbers extending from the interior of said casing through said casing and support, means co-operating with said headed members 130 draw the casing firmly against the support,
means fon concealing said last-mentioned means to make it inaccessible, a (1001 for said casing adapted to c1-ose the recept-acle, and a hollow receptacle fitting snugly within said cas ing to cover up one of said headed members, the other member being irremovable from within the casing when said hollow casing is in place.
8. A device as claimed in claim 7 in which the means co-operating with said headed members is a wedge which draws one of said members in a direction -to hold the casing firmly against the supportyand is in turn held against longitudinal and transverse movement by a screw-threaded opening co-operating with screw-t-hreads 011 the other of said headed members.
