My invention consists of a novel mounting for photographs and other pictures, and the object of the invention is to provide means for mounting prints back to back and utilizing the back of one to display the title to the other.

In the accompanying drawing illustrating my invention, Fig. 1 is a plan view of one side of a sheet of material with a photo- Fig. 2 is a plan view of the opposite side of the sheet with another photographic print attached. Fig. 3 is an enlarged transverse vertical section through the line mm of Fig 1, looking in f the direction of the arrow.

Similar numerals indicate corresponding parts in all the figures of the drawing.

Referring to the drawing, iis a sheet of material of convenient size for a binder or album, adapted to contain a plurality of such sheets. On each side of the surface of the sheet t there are shown three rectan ul'ar spaces described on the side shown in ig. 1 as'5, 5 and 5 respectively, and on the other side as 6, 6 and 6 respectively, said spaces being hereinafter referred to as'subdivisions. The subdivisions are defined by the border lines 7 on Figs. 1 and 2. In some instances it may be desirable to mount only one print upon each side of the. sheet, occupying substantially the entire surface of the sheet. The invention may be embodied in any size of sheet 4: that the user may prefer, and the subdivisions should be of a size to suit the print to be used thereon. Within each subdivision and near one end thereof, is an elongated opening 8, and slightly beyond the other end of each subdivision is a similar elongated opening 8. i In Fig. 1 is shown a photographic print 10, secured to subdivision and extending over and covering the elongated opening 8 within that subdivision, leaving the elongated opening .8 below subdivision .5 uncovered.

The prints may be secured to. the sheet by different means. but 'I' prefer to have said subdivisions of the sheet gummed in any manner and to any extent the maker may desire, which the operator may moisten by a wet' sponge or cloth and then press the print thereon.

is designed to cover the opening 8 within that v subdivision, and to display the title to the picture attached to subdivision 6' through the opening 8 shown'within subdivision 5 in Fig. 1, and below the subdivision 6 in Fig. 2. The print attached to subdivision 6* is designed to display the title to the print attached to subdivision 5 throughthe opening within subdivision GPand above the subdivision 5*. A corresponding arrangement of the titles will occur in the" relations between the prints attached to subdivision 5" and 6* respectively.

Each sheet 4, as illustrated in the drawing, is adapted to receive six photographic: prints with the name of each plainly displayed adjacent to it. 7 Larger sheets can, of course, be

made to display more prints in the same man- 12, 12, are guide marks for conveniently locating the corners of the print.

It is obvious that the sheet may beused not only for photographic prints, but for collecting a variety of souvenirs, such as postcards, postmarks, postage stamps and prised within my invention.

These sheets 4 being made preferably of thin paper, are light and convenient for photographers, and especially amateurs, to carry about, and provide convenient means for assembling a large number of prints in I a small" compass, and enabling the user promptlyv to entitle each print with its appropriate name. v 7 1 When a number of these sheets with prints mounted and entitled are collected, the user may then assemble them in a suitable looseleafed album. and preserve themfor ready reference. V r p What I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent is;
