IMPROVEMENT IN SAW-FRAMES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 178,985, dated June 20, 1876; application filed July 24, 1875.
. ion and State of Indiana, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Saw- Frames; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompany- I ing drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, which form part of this specification.
My invention relates to the ordinary woodsaw frames, having a straight rod in the upper part for tightening the saw;'and it consists in a right-angular brace permanently attached to said rod, and tightened at its angle by a bolt and nut'to the cross-bar of the frame, as 'will be hereinafter more fully set forth.
In order to enable others skilled in the art to which my invention appertains to make and use the same, I will now proceed to describe its construction and operation, referring to the annexed drawing, in which Figure l is a side View of an ordinary woodsaw embodying my invention.
