CONCRETE MIXER. Application filed October 23, 1926. Serial No. 143,810.
An object of my invention is to provide a one end of the cylinder 1, said opening exconcrete mixer which is light in weight, and tending into the cylinder 2. A water intake may be readily transported from place to 16 is provided in the cylinder 2 at the same place and which may be set upon the ground end in which the opening 15 is placed, thus adjacent the structure requiring the concrete. as the dry aggregate falls through the open- 00 Another object is to provide a concrete ing 15 it comes in contact with the water mixer in which the dry aggregate is posientering the intake 16*, and is thoroughly tively fed to the point where water is supmixed therewith. These paddles serve is highly ff ctive in op ration, N to thorou hly mix the dry aggregate and the Other objects, advantages and features of Water and provide a concrete of proper texinvention may appear from the accompanyture. It will be seen that the operation of ing drawing, the subjoined detailed descripmy mlxer is continuous in that the dry aggretion, nd th p nd d cl im gate may be constantly fed into the hopper I In the drawing 3, and the completed concrete is ejected from! The conveyor 7 positively moves in v a given quantity of dry aggregate at any %Iy concrete mixer comprises two superglven speed of the shaft 5, consequently the posed cylindrical chambers 1, 2. A hop er amount of water entering at 16 can be gauged 3 is mounted on the cylinder 1 and opens so tha a pr p rly proportioned concrete is therein. Thi hopper i ad pted to r i e provided; and in my mixer the concrete will 86 the dry aggregate which goes into the comalways be in the same proportions; that is, pleted concrete.
