A and A are the runners; B and B are knees made in a semicircular form with the ends attached to the runners and connected to the other parts as represented in the figure.
C and C are knees circular in form and are attached to the runners at equal distance from the center of B and B. The upper ends are attached to the under side of B and B and at their nearest parts the beam G is placed between them and held by a bolt. These knees extend above the beam so that the part 0 is placed between the knees of opposite sides and serve as a brace above the beam.
D and D are the rear knees circular in form and they extend from the runners to the bodysill L.
E is one of the forward knees also circular in form and extends from the runner to the bodysill.
F is the forward beam and is fastened between the knees E and B with a bolt passed through them.
Gr is the middle beam and is held between the knees C and G by a bolt being put through them.
H is the hind beam and is fastened to the top of the circular brace I and the same draft at the forward part of the runner to the rear of the sleigh and is fastened on the top of each beam.
K is a fender.
L is the bodysill bent in a manner so as to serve as a support for the dashboard and support for the seat; it is fastened on the knees D and E and upon the top of the knees B and B.
M is the lower part of the body. It is fastened to the forward beam and extends back to the middle beam; the back part is represented by O which serves as a brace and back part of M also a support to the seat.
N is the dashboard, and may be made of any desired form or size and it extends from the beam F around the forward part of M and as far up the part L as is desired.
The beams are arranged one higher than the other to suit the shape of the body and to give strength laterally by having the union of the knees and beams each on a line independent of the other.
.TVhat I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent is The parts designated by the letters A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, L and 0, combined as and for the purpose set forth.
