This invention relates to amusement machines and its object is to provide a machine of simple construction adapted to be operated with a coin or token to furnish amusement and entertainment.

The invention pertains to machinesof this general class in which means are provided for I agitating a set of small cubes withina glass case, the cubes having their sides dilferently colored, whereby color games may be played according to any prescribedrules. The object of the invention is to providean im-' proved machine of this type with means for locking the coin and the coin-carrying jaw against return movement before the coin has been carried downward to discharge position. I provide novel means for accomplishing this purpose as well as for assuring positive action and reliable results.

Referring to the drawings, a glass case'l is rigidly mounted upon a cabinet 2 in any suit-, able manner. A shaft 3 is supported in the cabinet and it carries an operating handle 4 outside the cabinet and a coin receiving aw 5 within the cabinet. A slot 6 is provided in the top of the'cabinet above the jaw. A bracket 7 and a spring pressed curved plate 8 supported within the cabinet form a guide for the passage of a coin 9 from the slot to the aw. 1 A lever 10 is pivoted at one end 11 to a support 12 on the cabinet and it is held by a spring 13 with its free end in the path of a proper coin in the jaw 5. An adjustable post 14 on the lever is arranged to engage the stem 15 which projects downward through an opening 16 in the top of the cabinet from a.
