Theinvention has reference to'rotary print-- ing presses, and more. particularly to rotary pertecting-presses- The invention consists, in a certain combination of a transversely-divided paper-supplycylinder or roll, forming two or' more inde-, pendentsupply cylindersor rolls, and serving to feed two or ,more independent webs, side by side, and a single"form-cylinderand single ,irepression-cylinder constructed to simultaneously print saidwebs'as they pass from the supply cylinders or rolls to or between said form. and impressioncylinders. By, this construction the form and. impression cylinders are supported intermediately of their length, the one bythe other, and prevented from springing or-yield ing sufficiently to interfere with the impression, and are thus held in their .proper positions independently of the boxesin the frame of the press, and the amount of strain that would otherwise fall upon such long cylinders isavoided.
