My invention relates to a thermal cut-out construction. One of the objects of my invention to PIIOVltlO-ZtfllSC element for bridging between 3 two contacts, whiclr'can be taken out after it is fused aml'replaced in reverse position to reestablish the circuit.

The clips 10 and 11 may be of any-usual suitable construct-ion adapted to receiye the cartridge type of fusible'element- The fuse element itself is reversible so that 'when the fusible material-l2 is fused and runs from the position shown in Fig. 2 down the inclined tube to the dottedline position shown in Fig. 2 it breaks the electrical con .nection between the upper clip engaging contact l7 and the intermediate clip engaging contact'ISand bridges between the lower clip engaging contact 19 and'the intermediato contact 18.
