IMPROVEMENT IN WAGON=JACKS.

Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. l65,69, dated July 20, 1875; applieation'filed June 7, 1875.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, JOSHUA SAWYER, of Northfield, in the county of Washington and State of Vermont, have invented an Improved Wagon-Jack, of which the following is a specification:

The object of my invention is to provide a jack for raising wagons, 820., by the com bina tion of levers, rods, and posts, as hereinafter described.

The accompanying drawings form a part of this specification.

Figures 1 and 2 are views of my improved jack with one side removed, showing the levers and their connections.

A, B, and G are levers connected by bars F F. D is a post resting upon lever U, and held to it by brace a. The levers B and C are attached to the sides M M by pins 6 h.

To operate my device place the jack under the wagon, with sliding block E. resting against the axle. Then bring the handle or lever A down toward the ground or base of the jack. By this operation levers B and G are raised, which raises post D and sliding
