My invention relates to certain improvenients in head bands, or bandeaux, for keeping the hair in place.
The objectof the invention is to siinplify the construction of a head ba11d or bandeaux, which is made from a strip of eiastic ribbon.

Referring' to the drawings, 1 is a. strip of ehxstio fabric, which is cut to the proper iength. The strip is then Vfoid'ed 1ongitudi nally. as shown in F .hand is out on the 29 .diagonal line 2 so that.v when the strip is opened, as in 5, it has a V-shaped incision at each end.

By constructing a head band in the man? ner hereinbefore described, there is a single ply of fabric throughout the entire'length of the band, which gives it a neat appearance.
I claim: i
As a new article of manufacture, a head band made of elast-ie fabric, having a V- shapedrincision at each end, the two edges opening` at the incision being stitched together so as to form a single ply; a fasteningr device at each end of the band for lsecnring` the ends together when said band RAYMOND K.
