CLEANING COMPOUND.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ANNA L. GAooNn, a citizen of the .United States, residing at WVashington, District of Columbia, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Cleaning Compounds, of which the following is a specification This invention appertains to a compound for cleaning and polishing purposes and the I 0' primary object of the invention is to provide a detergent, which will effectively clean and polish metallic, vitreous and enameled objects and at the same time act as a disinc fectant therefor.
A further object of the invention is to provide a soft soap compound for use as a gen eral household cleaning detergent, on paint, metal, and glass articles and which owing to its antiseptic qualities is especially adapted for cleaning toilet bowls, wash tubs, kitchen sinks and the like. 1
A further object of the invention is to provide a soft soap compound for general house cleaning purposes, which will be easy tomanufacture and which can be placed upon the market at a reasonable-cost.
The composition preferably consists of a mixture of soap, feldspar, creolin, ammonia and water. The feldspar is preferably in 0 the nature of a finely .ground' rock, while Application filed May 7, 1925. Serial No. 28,737.
agitated and allowed to boil for about fif teen minutes. The mixture is then allowed to cool and is ready for use.
The composition is preferably applied with a Wet cloth which is dipped into the soap and applied to the object to be cleaned. The object is rubbed lightlywith'the cloth after which the same cloth is used and the article is rinsed with warm water.
WVhat I claim as new is:
A cleaning vpaste embodying water eight pints, soap two pounds, feldspar two pounds, creolin a half ounce and household ammonia two ounces.
