IMPROVEMENT IN METALLIC SHUTTERS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 157,505, dated December 8, 1874; application filed June 13, 1874.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FISHER F. FLETCHER, of Sioux (Jityand county, in the Stateof Iowa, have invented an Improved Fire-Proof Shutter, "of which the following is a specification:
Figure 1 of drawing is a front elevation, and Fig. 2 a cross-section.
The invention contemplates the manufacture of a single-sheet shutter, paneled and braced so as to possess the necessary strength with only a Weight of about seventy-five pounds.
I re-enforce a continuous sheet, A, on the margin or edges by riveted strips B, and brace the middle by the raised panel C.
