I claim:
The combination with a grease cup plug having a male screw thread adapted to engage a female thread on the wall of. a grease-containing cavity, and including a recess in its inner end and having a transverse orifice and a socket in the inner surface of the annular wall of said recess, of a plug-confining member composed of a metal rod including a straight end portion extending through said orifice and having an end fac adapted to extend across and bear on the apex of the said female thread, and a resiiient compressible bowed portion 'engaging the walls of the socket, the said MILTON P. MOLAUGHLIN.
