The object of my invention is the employment of a convenient and simple device for connecting the back straps of Suspenders together, and for at taehin g the drawers to the suspender-s. The nature ot myinvention consists in attaching, a hook to each end of a short strap, and in inserting these hooks in eyelets worked in the back straps of the suspenders, for the purpose ot' preventing them from slippin g oft' of the shoulders.
The construction and operation otl my invention are as follows: A is the attachment, which is a st ap formed of webbing` or any other snitable material. This strap is provided at each end with ahook, B. Then the attachment is used for the purpose of preventing the suspender from slipping ot't the shoulder, one hook, B, is inserted in the eyelet C of one of the back bands E, and the other hook, B, is insert-ed in the eyelct C of t-he other back band. This keeps the suspender-strap well up on the shoulder. When it is desired to keep the drawers up, one hook, B, is inserted either in the eyelet G or C', or is inserted in the suspender-buckle D, and the other hook, B, is inserted in the eyelet D', worked in the waistband E ot' t-he drawers. This effectually prevents the drawers from slipping down and allows the hips to be relieved of their weight.
What I claim as new,and desire to secure by Letters Patent ot the United States, is
