Be it known that l, GUs'rAv SCHMIDT, a citizen of the United States, residingY at Bydgoszcz, in the count7 of Bydgoszcz Poland, have invented certain new and u, ful lnipro'nements in Soft Collars ant Stili'- eners; and l do herebv declare the foliowiug` to Je a n. clear. ai' exa t description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the artl to which it appertains to maire and use the saine. That is claimed is:
A folding or turndovvn soft collar having; pockets at opposite ends of the neclband, a stitfener insertable between the folds of the collar and having its ends inserted in the said pockets, and conipleniental fastening means applied to corresponding ends of the stitlfener and to a necktie to retain the latter in place.
