To all whom it may concern:

' Be it known that JOHN Amnesia, a citizen of France, residingat Pittsburg, in the county of Crawford and State of Kansas, has invented new and useful Improvements tents thereof and convenient means for refilling the bin without involving the ope'rator in .theexertion of lifting or supporting the weight of the bin and its contents which, when of relatively large proportions, is of a weight rendering it inconvenient to handle; and. with this general object in View theinventlon consists in a construction and combination of parts of which a preferred embodiment is shown .in the accompanying drawings, wherein Figure 1 is a front view of a binof the :type indicated having a mountin embodymg'the invention and housed wit in areasing which may constitute a compartment of akitchen cabinet or like structure.

The mechanism consists essentially of bin supporting arms 10 pivotally mounted as at 11 upon base plates 12 which are securely fastened-to the walls 13 of a cas- 'ing in which the bin let carried by said arms is adapted to be housed and which in practice may constitute a compartment of a kitchen cabinet, the engagement of the bin with the arms beingdetachable as by consisting of headed pins 15 projectinglater- "ally from the bin for reception by seats 16, consisting of. notches formed in the extremities of said arms, together with means tending to swing the bin supporting arms into the casing so as to house the bin theremyina pendent position so that the coir tents may be withdrawn through a dispensing outlet 17in the lower end of the'bin.

The yoke being held in its folded position by the actuating springs when the parts are in the.housed relation in the casing. it will he noted, by reference to Figure 2, that there is a margin of play providing for movement of the bin supporting arms independently of the yoke, or until they impact with the stops 25. Insuch a position, the bin supporting arms are so nearly vertical that but a slight pressure against the front side of the bin is sutlicient to push the latter rear wardly into the casing when it. is desired to close the casing to completely house the bin. When the arms are in the position to contact with the stops. the bin is disposed in the dispensing position but when it is desired to fill the. latter. the arms are drawn forwardly and impacting with the yoke, motion is communicated to the latter and it and the arms swing 011t\\al(liy,-,lo dispose the bin in a position for refilline. the springs 23 in this operation being under tension and serving to return the parts to their normal housed position when the pivotal latches 26 are released by means of their finger holds 28.

Having described the invention, what is claimed as new and useful is:-

1. In combination with a dispensing bin, a, mounting having pivotal supporting arms between the, extremities of which the bin is suspended, a spring actuated yoke having .arms slidingly engaged with the supporting arms and provided with stops for limiting the movementof the supporting arms independently of the yoke after they have reached a certain position with respect to the the cross bar thereof and the point of en- I gagement of the supporting arms therewith to communicate rocking; movement of the supporting arms to the yoke.

2. A mounting for hins having, pivotal supporting arms between the free ends of which the lain is suspended, a yoke carried hy the supporting arms and having: link connections with rearwardly deflected terminals of the supporting arms adjacent. the pivotal points thereof, the arms of the yoke raving limited sliding: eonnectious with the supporting: arms, and retraction springs connccted with the yoke for yieldingly resisting the forward movement: of the supporting arms.

A mounting for bins having pivotal supporting arms between the freeends of which the hm is suspended, a yoke carried by the supporting arms and having link. connections with rearwardl t deflected terminals of the supporting arms adjacent the pivotal points thereof, the arms of. the yoke having limited sliding connections with the supporting: arms, retraction springs eons nected with the yoke for yieldingly resist: o ing: the forward movement of the supporting arms, and means for locking the supporting arms against the rearward movement- 11023" mally imposed by said spring.
