State of. ,-Pennsylvania, have invented new and usefulliolders vfor Dental Floss and wh ch the following s a My invention consists of a devicel forholding dental floss, silk or Otherthread, the same embodying means for holding the thread tightly on the stockotthe device.

Theinvention issatisfactorily illustrated in the accompanying drawing,';but the important instrumentalities thereof may be varied, and so it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to *t-hespecifiedetails shown and described, as long as they are within thespirit or scope of the claims.

Figure 1 represents a perspective View of a device for holding dental floss or other thread embodying my invention.

In the end of the arm 9 adjacent to the recess 11 is the eye 16 through which the thread is passed and from whence it enters said recess and consequently the bore of the stock. 7 r
