A sanitary epplience for toilet seetswliicli A consists of a sheet of suitable material of a size to extend over substanially one-half olf the seat, said sheet being formed at one side with an extension adapted to be bent downwardly over the front edge of the sheet, said sheet being slit at its other side at spaced points to form zi tongue from the central portion of the material bendable down Wardly to engage the forward edge of the seat opening, the edges of the slit portion of lo the sheet at each side of the tongue being slit substantially transversely of the sheet to provide bendable aps for engagement with the lateral edges of the seat opening.
