`While. I have shown and described the preferred embodiment of my invention, it will be understood that minor changes in construction, combination and arrangement of parts may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as claimed.
Having thus described my invention, l claim?- A eloset bowl comprising a hollow body provided at its uppei` edge with a circular renforcingvlange, a horizontally extending shelf formed intermediate the top and bottom of said bowl, said shelf extending from side to sgde across thebowl and provided with an e'llipL, l opening at one side thereof, an inv'vardly extending flange formed at the side wall adjacent the opening and vextending under the shelf forming a passage esegue which eonnnunieates with the upper side of said shell', a flap valve closing the outer end oi said )lissage and hingedly secured to the under side of the shelf, the side wall of the body opposite the elliptical opening being provided with an opening which is in direct alincineut with the passage which the liep valve closes, a plug for Closing said Wall opening, a shallow pan formed integrally with the vertical Wall immediately beneath the end of said inwardly extending flange1 a curved tubular Wall extending from the front edge of the pan and from the under side of the said lange to form an outlet opening, and a drain pipe associated with the last named opening.
