ran'rnon or' l:eiaoiniiclive A 'CONTINUOUS snAMLnss LINING on ooiionnrn WALLS In COURSE oF THEIR CONSTRUCTION.
To all whom t may concern.'
Be it known that. I, CARL MAIER, a citizen -of the Republic of Switzerland, and a resident of Baden, Switzerland, have invented roducing a Continuous Seamless Lining on Concrete alls in Course of Their Construction, .of which the following is a specication.
It is known to employ plates of ashalt and the like for covering concrete walls, and in material.
Owing to the great fragility of the plates it was, in both instances, only possible to use the plates of comparatively small dimensions, so thatthere were a large number of joints in the respective covering which duced.
The illow of the use of plates of any size, and
the construction of such Wall. he present invention consists in connecting the plate of a size and shape corresponding to tlie concrete wall with the wall f the mold used for the construction of the concrete wall, and thereupon placing this mold wall together with the plate attached thereto into position, bracing it in the usual manner, and lastly filling up the cavity of the mold with concrete. When the concrete has set, the bracing woods are removed, the connections between the liner plate and the mold wall detached and the latter isk removed.
lhe plate may be secured to' thepmold walls in various manner. So for mstauce a layer ends project upward. the like is poured onto this arrangement to the required thickness-of the plate. After the plate e has set, it is laid on the wall f object of the present invention is to` Specification of Letters Patent.
