In assembling the first and second finger sections 3 and the thumb section't, the parts are placed as shown in Fig. VI, with the outer face of the finger section adjoining the outer face of the thumb section, and the indentations 15 and 19 in registration, in which position the parts are stitched to gether around the edge of the indentations 15-19. The thumb section is then turned back through the indentations 15-19, so that the two inner faces adjoin, and the free edges of the thumb section brought together and stitched as clearly shown in Fig. VII.

The inset edges 9 and 14 of the palm portions 8 and 13 are then stitched together and the wristband '5 stitched to the lower edge ofall the parts to complete the glove. It'

is apparent that by forming'the inset edges '9 and 14, the fullness that would otherwise open around the fingers andalong the outer edge of the palm and fourth finger. A wrist band or guantletmay then beeasily stitched to' the lower edge of the sections and. the

as clearly shown in Fig. IX.

A glove comprising a section having third and fourth fingers integrally connected with an inset palm portion, a first and second finger section having an inset palm portion provided with a thumb recess, a thumb section having a seat corresponding to the recess in the first and second finger section, means for securing the free edges of the insetpalm portions together, means for securing the edges of the palmrecess and thumb seat together, a wrist sectionfand means for securing the wrist section to all of the sections.
