ARTIFICIAL TEETH.
To all whom may concern Be it known that we, GLENN E. Monit nccs'mn and Janus G, MoRMNcs'rAR, citizens of the United States, residing at Greenville, in the county of Darke and State of mouth.
The construction of our improvement will be fully described hereinafter in connection with the accompanying drawing which forms a part of this specification, and its novel features will be set forth and defined in the appended claim.
In the drawings :-Figure 1 is a vertical section of a porcelain facing and its post, and a bridge to which our invention is applicable, Fig. 2 is a side elevation of our improved securing device, Fig. 8 is a side elevation illustrating the facing secured to a bridge, and Fig. 1 is a sectional view of the bridge.
The numeral 1 designates a porcelain facing in which is formed on its inner side a Specification of Letters Patent.

vertical slot 2 adapted to receive a securing post 3 from the upper end of which projects a threaded pin t upon which is mounted a nut 5.
The numeral 6 designates a backing to which the facing 1 is secured by means of the threaded pin 1, and nut 5.
In case of breakage of the facing 1 a new facing may be readily applied without removing the bridge, as will be apparent to those skilled in the dental art,
Having thus fully described our invention what we claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent is In dental bridge work, the combination with a perforated backing and a removable facing, of a post adapted to fit within a slot formed in the facing, a threaded pin projecting at approximately a right angle from said post. an extension of the post projecting beyond the pin to take into an undercut in the removable facing, and a nut mounted upon the inner end. of said pin.
