v IMPROVEMENT IN RAILWAY-CHAIRS AND CLAMPS.

Be it known that I, LOYsT J. SMITH, of the city of New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented a new and improved Railroad-Chair and Clamp; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilledin the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accom' panying drawing forming part of this specification.
My invention relates to railroad-chairs, and my 0bject is to introduce to the public an improved clamp therefor, which will bev first described, and then clear- Iy specified in the claim.
