IMPROVENIENT IN SEAL-LOCKS.

, In order to enable others skilled in the art izo-which my invention uppertains to make and usethe some, I will now proceed to describe its construction and operation, referring to the annexed drawing, in which- 4 'Figure 1 is a. longitudinal vertical section of my lock;

Figure 6 is n side view of the key. A represents the lock-casing, which is of cylindriment of the bolt by closingrthe aperture through which the end 'a of the holt C works.

Near the hack end of the lock is formed el shoulder, b,- on which to secure a, press or device for crushing the metallic seal or disk into the recess E, and stempingit with such device or letters ns muy be desired.

The hole4 into which'the bnry G enters onthe platte H, is, onthe front side of said plate, covered b v n spring, I, fastened at f, as shown in iig. 5, said spring being forced back from the 'opening by turning the key round to the stop g, which prevents the key from being turned beyond the opening. Now, the bolt C can be released from the catch in the hasp B by pressing forward upon the key. h is a. guenter series of wards, to which the key is fitted. A
