This 'invention' relates to improvements-in printing presses for prmtlng t-Wo or more colors upon the saine side of the same sheet, and has especial referencet'o presses of this class employing one or more'transter Vcylindersdocated between adjacent impression cylinders for causing the sheet after it'has received the impression of one cylinder, to be properly transferred to the next cylinder,

and the improvements have especial retnovelty which will now be described With" reference to the accompanying draivings,

and then more particularly pointed ont in the claims.

The invention is shown as applied to a two-color two revolution printing press, but it will nevertheless be understood that the number of printing couples or printing cylinders employed above two will be immaterial. so far as theinvention is concerned. Tin this exemplitication of the invention, 1 is the first cylinder. 2 the second cylinder, 'and 3 the transfer cylinder situated between cylinders 1 and 2 in the usual or any suitable manner.
