' Letters Patent No. 103,154, dated May 17, 1870.
IMPROVEMENT IN BREEGIHI-II'JOADIIIG- FIRE-ARMS.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and. making part of the same To all whom 'it may concern vented a new and useful Improvement in Breech-loath ing Fire-arm's and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in' the art to make and use the same, reference beinghad to the accompanying drawing forming partof this specification.
This invention relates to a new and useful improvement in breech-loading fire-arms, whereby they are made more simple and durable than they have hitherto been, and
It consists in a looking-lever for the barrel, and arranged and operating as hereinafter more fully de-' scribed.
In the accompanying drawing-- Fignre 1 is a longitudinal side view, partly in soction.

The barrelis held in place for firing by means of the lever F, which is pivoted to the frame at G.
