Abstract

The invention relates to the production of palletized fuel, in particular to a process for preparation of fuel briquettes from the carbon-containing materials of plant origin, such as peat, plant wastes: sunflower peelings, straw, flax hards, peelings of buckwheat and walnut etc., waste wood in a form of saw dust, bark, shaving, kindling wood. The process provides for preparation of raw material in disk extruder at the temperature of 70-100 °C, and humidity of 45-60%, charging into briquetting device, briquetting into briquette press or strew press (extruder), or roller press, and briquette drying. The invention allows to produce briquettes from the different kinds of carbon-containing materials, having high qualitative characteristics, and to decrease the cost of production thereof.
