Abstract

A method for obtaining cell lines of vegetable plants of the family Solanaceae L. (tomato, sweet pepper, aubergine) in culture in vitro comprises using the explants as donor material, which are at the juvenile developmental stage, in particular cotyledons of 7-10-day sterile seedlings, planting thereof onto Murashige-Skoog medium (MS), modified by the growth regulators BAP from 2 to 5 mg/l and IAA from 2 to 5 mg/l, propagating the cell lines by the direct organogenesis method, growing shooting conglomerates on the MS medium, modified by 1 mg/l BAP and 2 mg/l GA, and rooting the formed regenerant plants on the MS medium supplemented with 0.5 mg/l IAA.
