Abstract
A plasmatron includes a sectional interelectrode insert and a jet with a cylindrical outlet section of a channel. An inlet section of the jet channel is made conic, narrowing to the cylindrical surface of the outlet section of the channel, while ratio of diameter of the channel of the interelectrode insert to diameter of the cylindrical jet channel is 2.0...4.0, and ratio of height of the cylindrical jet channel to height of the jet channel is 0.25...0.50.
