The process for preparation of D-a-amino acids comprises microbiological hydrolysis of glycolic urea with subsequent isolation of desired product. For the purpose of increasing the yield of desired products the hydrolysis is realized by microorganism Pseudomonax Sp., HM-40 (CBS 259,79).
