Abstract
An electroacoustic converter is formed by two electrodes: a cathode and an anode, which can be made both as solid conducting body and a set of electrically connected conductors and comprise discharge elements located in line at least on one of the electrodes with a period not exceeding 4 mm, ends of which are directed to a space between the electrodes, cathode and anode and equidistant termination of opposite electrode discharge elements. The discharge elements are made in the form of volume bodies having high surface curvature, each electrode – the anode and cathode is connected to a voltage source; current limiting elements can be connected to the electric circuit between the voltage source and electrodes, cathode and anode, as current-limiting elements a resistor can be used. The discharge elements can be made as sections separated from an adjacent section by a dielectric.
