Abstract
The invention relates to medicine, in particular to stomatology, and can be used in prosthetic dentistry and preventive dentistry for grinding approximal surfaces after application of inlays and/or filling to remove cement excess; in orthodontology for enlargement of fissure between adjacent teeth to put a band; for calibration of interdental approximal spaces; in dental surgery for removal of granulation tissue at chronic papillitis, gingivitis, for removal of sharp alveolar bone spikes, sharp edge of alveolar socket.A universal dental strip holder comprises a body made as three changeable pairs of separate handles of different lengths (140 mm, 30 mm and 15 mm), strip fastener and fixing screw with cheese or tapered head. The strip is fixed by means of fixing screw with cheese head for long handles and by means of taper-headed screw for medium and short handles, this provides convenient and reliable retention thereof. Wedge-shaped strip fastener is made as six pairs of attachments of different width (3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm).
