已知技藝之喉頭罩乃由醫護人員從病人喉部放入病人氣管開口以便將氧氣注入病人體內。然因人體上顎、喉部彎曲的構造,當醫護人員要把喉頭罩經喉部放入人體時,喉頭罩前端常常會因受到推力被擠壓變形而抵觸病人口腔內部或喉嚨,造成醫護人員無法施力亦無法推動喉頭罩的情況發生。為解決前述問題,於安置喉頭罩的過程中,醫護人員會把手指伸病人口中以穩定喉頭罩,但將手指伸入病人口中難免有被病人咬傷的風險,且若病人的牙關緊或口腔空間狹小,則手指很難深入病人口中操作,造成安置喉頭罩的困難。而台灣專利申請案第096205250號(美國對應案US 2008-0236592 A1)為在喉頭罩前端設置扣帶構造可供一操控件抵靠,但此案的帶扣結構受限於帶扣的長條形 狀,造成帶扣與操控件間的結合強度不佳,很容易於安置此種喉頭罩於病人喉部的過程中,發生操控件與跟帶扣分離的情況,且喉頭罩進入病人喉部的行進過程中,完全在口腔內無法目視監看,若操控件脫離帶扣,操控件前端很容易刺傷病人喉部組織造成嚴重傷害,故須加強扣帶結構確保使用安全。 The laryngeal mask of the known art is inserted by medical staff from the patient's throat into the patient's tracheal opening so as to inject oxygen into the patient's body.
