Description

Screen unit management method, electronic device and non-transitory computer readable storage medium

The present invention relates to a management technology for how an electronic device is used, and in particular, to a screen unit management method, an electronic device and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium.

甚至,居家辦公(Work From Home,WFH)或居家學習(Learn From Home,LFH)可能轉變為更靈活的隨處辦公(Work From Anywhere,WFA)與隨處學習(Learn From Anywhere,LFA)。 The epidemic of infectious diseases has been spreading for a long time, making remote work the new normal. Even Work From Home (WFH) or Learn From Home (LFH) may transform into more flexible Work From Anywhere (WFA) and Learn From Anywhere (LFA). Due to the advantages of flexible working or teaching methods, online office and online learning are still common in various countries.

Compared with before the epidemic, people spend more time using electronic devices for work or study. Nearly 90% of users have experienced Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS) after using electronic devices for long periods of time to work and study. Wrong posture, too close distance, overuse and other factors may cause users to suffer from CVS, resulting in decreased and blurred vision, burning or stinging eyes, sensitivity to light, headaches, back and neck pain and other symptoms. . Existing devices cannot actively prevent users from using the device in incorrect postures, nor can they actively allow users to control the time they use the device.

On the other hand, if information is frequently transmitted online, the probability of information security incidents will also increase significantly. Work and study anywhere. You may work and study in various places. Therefore, in addition to controlling information security from the Internet, it is also necessary to strictly prevent the risk of on-site screen information leakage. Existing devices cannot actively prevent prying eyes from the outside world without affecting the viewing angle and brightness of the screen.

The original screen can be a picture, text, video, game, user interface, or a combination thereof. For example, the editing screen of a document program, the main interface of an email program, or the image of the other party in a video call.

The processing unit 14 identifies the first image in the detection data (step S220). In one embodiment, the detection data includes detection data from a proximity sensor, an infrared camera or a color camera. For example, impedance, capacitance or switching state based on the proximity sensor can be used to detect the distance between the user and the sensing unit 12 and/or the presence of the user. For another example, the sensing image of the infrared camera can be used to detect facial information (providing a higher degree of privacy), detect the distance between the user and the sensing unit 12 and/or detect the presence of the user. For another example, the color image of the color camera can be used to detect the user's location information in the entire shooting frame, detect facial information (privacy strength is weaker than that of infrared cameras), and/or detect the presence of the user.

This embodiment has the requirement to detect facial information and/or object characteristics, so the detection data can be detection data from an infrared camera or a color camera.

3A to 3D are schematic diagrams of a first image according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 3A, the first image may be the first user image UI1. A user image refers to an image of a person. For example, the image obtained by the user is captured through the sensing unit 12 .

In an embodiment, the first user image UI1 includes a first user face image FI and/or a first user eye image EI. The face image refers to the image of the face in the user image. The eye image refers to the image of the eye part in the user's image. For example, an iris image. In other embodiments, the first user image UI1 may also include images of mouth, nose or other parts of the human body.

Referring to FIG. 3B, the first image may be the first device image DI1. The first device image DI1 may include a first camera image, a first mobile phone image, a first tablet image and/or a first laptop image. That is, images from a camera, phone, tablet or laptop.

Referring to FIG. 3C, the first image may be the gesture image GI1. The gesture image GI1 is an image of a special gesture. The gesture image GI1 may include a first pressing gesture image, a first photographing gesture image, or a first selfie gesture image. For example, the index finger pressing gesture, the mobile phone holding gesture, or the tablet holding gesture.

Referring to FIG. 3D, the first image may be the second user image UI2. The second user image UI2 is an image of a person different from the first user image (eg, the first user image UI1 of FIG. 3A ). Similarly, the second user image UI2 may also include images such as face, eyes or other human body parts.

However, other variations of the first image are still possible.

例如,透過神經網路的演算法(例如,YOLO(You only look once)、基於區域的卷積神經網路(Region Based Convolutional Neural Networks,R-CNN)、或快速R-CNN(Fast CNN))或是基於特徵匹配的演算法(例如,方向梯度直方圖(Histogram of Oriented Gradient,HOG)、尺度不變特徵轉換(Scale-Invariant Feature Transform,SIFT)、Harr、或加速穩健特徵(Speeded Up Robust Features,SURF)的特徵比對)實現物件偵測。In one embodiment, image recognition may be based on object detection technology. For example, through neural network algorithms (for example, YOLO (You only look once), Region Based Convolutional Neural Networks (R-CNN), or Fast R-CNN (Fast CNN)) Or algorithms based on feature matching (such as Histogram of Oriented Gradient (HOG), Scale-Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT), Harr, or Speeded Up Robust Features , SURF) feature comparison) to achieve object detection.

Referring to FIG. 2 , the processing unit 14 determines whether the first image matches the registered image (step S230 ). Specifically, the registered image is an image of a user, gesture and/or device that is pre-stored in the memory unit 13 and/or has passed the authentication. The processing unit 14 can directly determine whether the first image is a registered image using the detection result of the aforementioned object detection technology. For example, the registered image is the face image of user A, and the object type of the object detection result is a dog head image, so it does not match the face image. Alternatively, the processing unit 14 may use a feature comparison method to determine the similarity between the first image and the registered image, and determine whether the first image matches the registered image based on the similarity. For example, those whose similarity is higher than a threshold (for example, 75, 85, or 90%) are qualified as registered images, but those whose similarities are lower than the threshold are not qualified as registered images.

In one embodiment, the registration image includes a registered user image. That is, the image of the authenticated user. Before comparing registered images, the image characteristics of registered users can be recorded for subsequent comparison. For example, the image of the person in the first user image UI1 shown in FIG. 3A is a registered user image, but the image of the person in the second user image UI2 shown in FIG. 3D is not a registered user image.

In one embodiment, the registered user image includes a registered user face image or a registered user eye image. That is, an image of the authenticated user's face or eyes. The registered user's face image or the registered user's eye image can be cropped from the registered user's image. Alternatively, the detection range of the sensing unit 12 may only target the user's face or eyes, thereby directly obtaining the registered user's face image or the registered user's eye image.

In one embodiment, the registration image includes a registration device image. That is, an image of the target device. Before comparing the registered images, the image characteristics of the target device can be recorded for subsequent comparison.

In one embodiment, the registration image includes a registration gesture image. that is, images of specific gestures. Before comparing registered images, image features of specific gestures can be recorded for subsequent comparison.

The processing unit 14 masks the original image according to the determination result of the first image (step S240). The judgment result is one of the first image conforming to the registered image or the first image not conforming to the registered image.

In one embodiment, if the first image matches the registered image, the screen unit 11 maintains displaying the original image and is not blocked by other images. If the first image does not match the registered image, the processing unit 14 displays a prompt screen, a blurred screen, a darkened screen or a combination thereof through the screen unit 11 to block at least part of the original screen.

For example, FIG. 4A and FIG. 4B are schematic diagrams of screen masking according to an embodiment of the present invention. Please refer to Figure 4A, the original picture is a video playback. Referring to FIG. 4B , assuming that the image of the person in the second user image UI2 shown in FIG. 3D is not a registered user image, and the first image is the second user image UI2 , a blurred image is displayed to block the video playback. .

In addition, the prompt screen can also prompt additional text or pattern messages. In one embodiment, the prompt screen includes an information security prompt screen, a journey prompt screen, a distance prompt screen, a posture prompt screen, or a rest prompt screen. For example, the rest prompt message of "eye rest time" shown in Figure 4B. It should be noted that the information on the screen can still be changed according to the actual needs of the user, which is not limited by the embodiments of the present invention.

FIG. 5 is a flow chart of a screen unit management method according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 5 , the processing unit 14 can identify the second image in the detection data (step S510 ). That is, other images of the first image recognized in FIG. 2 are recognized.

UI2。6A to 6C are schematic diagrams of a first image and a second image according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 6A, the first image may be the first user image UI1. And the second image may be the second user image UI2.

In an embodiment, the second user image UI2 may also include a second user's face image, a second user's eye image, and/or images of other parts of the second user.

Referring to FIG. 6B, the second image may be a second device image DI2. Similarly, the second device image DI2 may be a second camera image, a second mobile phone image, a second tablet image and/or a second laptop image. As shown in Figure 3, the user image UI4 holds the mobile phone and takes the image.

Referring to FIG. 6C, the second image may be the gesture image GI2. The gesture image GI1 is an image of a special gesture. The gesture image GI2 may include a second pressing gesture image, a second photographing gesture image, or a second selfie gesture image. As shown in Figure 3, the user image UI4 holds the mobile phone and makes a pressing gesture with the index finger.

The processing unit 14 determines whether the second image matches the registered image (step S520). The description of the registered image may be referred to the description of step S230 in FIG. 2 and will not be described again here.

The processing unit 14 masks the original picture according to the determination result of the second image (step S530). The judgment result is that the second image matches the registered image or the second image does not match the registered image.

In one embodiment, when the second image matches the registered image, the processing unit 14 can display a prompt screen, a blurred screen, a darkened screen or a combination thereof through the screen unit 11 to block all or part of the original screen. For example, if the currently detected image includes both a registered user and other users, a registered user and a mobile phone image, or a registered user and a finger press image, a mask is displayed to cover the original image.

In an embodiment, when the first image does not conform to the registered image, the processing unit 14 may calculate the first region area of the first image. The first area area is the area of the bounding box (bounding box) or region of interest (Region of Interest, ROI) of the first image. For example, the area of a face image. The measure of area can be the number of pixels or the length.

In an embodiment, when the second image matches the registered image, the processing unit 14 may calculate the second region area of the second image. The second region area is the area of the bounding box or region of interest of the second image.

Taking FIG. 6A as an example, the first area area is the area of the bounding box B1 of the first user image UI1, and the second area area is the area of the bounding box B2 of the second user image UI2.

Area comparison can be used for masking decisions. FIG. 7 is a flow chart of a screen unit management method according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 7 , the processing unit 14 may compare the area of the first region and the area of the second region (step S710 ), and block the original picture based on the comparison result between the area of the first region and the area of the second region. When the area of the second area is smaller than the predetermined ratio of the area of the first area, the processing unit 14 can block the original image through the screen unit 11 (step S720). The predetermined proportion ranges from 75% to 85%. For example, 80%. However, other changes to the predetermined proportions are still possible.

When the area of the second area is not smaller than the predetermined ratio of the area of the first area, the processing unit 14 can block the original image through the screen unit 11 or close the screen unit 11 (step S730).

In addition to user and object comparisons, there are other occlusion decisions. FIG. 8 is a flow chart of a screen unit management method according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 8 , the processing unit 14 can determine whether the current time matches the masking period (step S810 ). The masking period can be 12:00PM~01:00PM. That is, lunch or break time from 12 noon to 1 pm. In other embodiments, the blocking period may be 06:00PM~10:00PM or other periods.

When the current time matches the blocking period, the processing unit 14 can block the original picture through the screen unit 11 . That is, if the current time is within the blocking period, the screen will be blocked.

In one embodiment, before determining the masking period, it may be determined whether the first image matches the registered image. When the first image matches the registered image, the subsequent masking period is determined. When the first image does not match the registered image, it is continuously detected whether a registered image appears.

FIG. 9 is a flow chart of a screen unit management method according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 9 , the processing unit 14 can calculate the first distance corresponding to the first image. The first image corresponds to a first object (eg, a face, a device, or a hand), and the first distance is the distance between the first object and the screen unit 11 / sensing unit 12 . This embodiment has a requirement for distance detection, so the detection data may be detection data from a proximity sensor or an infrared camera. The processing unit 14 may determine whether the first distance is greater than the first upper limit of distance, or whether the first distance is less than the first lower limit of distance (step S910). For example, the first distance upper limit ranges from 140 cm to 160 cm. The first distance lower limit ranges from 40 cm to 50 cm. However, there are still other possibilities for the first distance upper limit and the first distance lower limit to change. When the first distance is greater than the first upper limit of the distance and/or the first distance is less than the first lower limit of the distance, the processing unit 14 can block the original image through the screen unit 11 (step S920).

For example, FIG. 10A and FIG. 10B are schematic diagrams of viewing distances according to an embodiment of the present invention. Please refer to FIG. 10A , assuming that the first object is the user U, and there is a distance D1 between the electronic device 10 and the user U. The distance D1 is 200 centimeters and greater than the first distance upper limit of 160 centimeters. Referring to FIG. 10A , it is assumed that there is a distance D2 between the electronic device 10 and the user U. The distance D2 is 30 centimeters and less than the first lower limit of 40 centimeters.

On the other hand, when the first distance is not greater than the first distance upper limit and the first distance is not less than the first distance lower limit, the original picture can be maintained to be displayed but the original picture is not blocked (step S930).

FIG. 11 is a flow chart of a screen unit management method according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 11 , the first image includes a first eye image, and the processing unit 14 can calculate a first width of the first eye image relative to the reference horizontal line.

請參照圖12,螢幕單元11具有螢幕長度L(即,圖面的橫向長度)與螢幕寬度W(即,圖面的縱向長度)。 W1。For example, FIG. 12 is a schematic diagram of viewing height according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 12 , the screen unit 11 has a screen length L (ie, the horizontal length of the image) and a screen width W (ie, the longitudinal length of the image). The reference horizontal line is the center horizontal line of the screen unit. For example, the central horizontal line is a first lower width limit DL that is half of the screen width W. The distance from the eye image to the central horizontal line is the first width W1.

This embodiment has high detection requirements, so the detection data may be detection data from a near-infrared camera or a color camera.

以圖12為例,第一寬度上限UL為3/4W(也就是,螢幕寬度W的四分之三),第一距離下限DL為1/2W(也就是,螢幕寬度W的二分之一)。 Referring to FIG. 11 , the processing unit 14 may determine whether the first width is greater than the first upper limit of the width, or whether the first width is less than the first lower limit of the width (step S1110 ). Taking Figure 12 as an example, the first upper limit of the width UL is 3/4W (that is, three-quarters of the screen width W), and the first lower limit of the distance DL is 1/2W (that is, one-half of the screen width W). ). However, there are still other possibilities for the first width upper limit and the first width lower limit to change. When the first width is greater than the first upper limit of the width and/or the first width is less than the first lower limit of the width, the processing unit 14 may block the original image through the screen unit 11 (step S1120).

On the other hand, when the first width is not greater than the first upper limit of width and the first width is not less than the first lower limit of width, the original picture can be maintained to be displayed without blocking the original picture (step S1130).

In one embodiment, when the first width is not greater than the first width upper limit and the first width is not less than the first width lower limit and/or the first distance is not greater than the first distance upper limit and the first distance is not less than the first distance lower limit, The processing unit 14 may further determine whether the first image and/or the second image conforms to the registered image, and mask the original image accordingly.

FIG. 13 is a flow chart of a screen unit management method according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 13 , when the first image matches the registered image, the processing unit 14 may calculate the accumulated time (step S1310 ). Specifically, when a registered image is detected, the processing unit 14 may record the current time as the initial time. Then, the processing unit 14 can calculate the accumulated time based on this initial time. The processing unit 14 may determine whether the accumulated time is greater than the upper limit of time. The time limit is 20 minutes or 25 minutes. 20 minutes helps the ciliary muscles relax, while 25 minutes is consistent with the Pomodoro method. That is, determine whether the user's viewing time has timed out. However, other changes to the time cap are still possible.

When the accumulated time is greater than the upper limit of time, the processing unit 14 can block the original picture through the screen unit 11 (step S1320). That is, the viewing timeout requires a break. On the other hand, when the accumulated time is not greater than the upper limit of time, the original picture can be maintained but not obscured.

FIG. 14 is a flow chart of a screen unit management method according to an embodiment of the present invention. The processing unit 14 can obtain raw data from at least two of the proximity sensor, the infrared camera and the color camera. The processing unit 14 can select one according to the data size of the raw data of the proximity sensor, the infrared camera and the color camera, and generate detection data accordingly. The smallest data size has the highest priority for selection, and the largest data size has the lowest priority for selection. That is, the original data with smaller amount of data can be selected as detection data. Alternatively, the detection data includes detection data of a proximity sensor, an infrared camera or a color camera, whichever is the smallest. Generally speaking, the order of data size of detection data is proximity sensor<infrared camera<color camera. Therefore, in the case where there are a plurality of sensing units 12 for a specific detection requirement, the selected priority order is proximity sensor>infrared camera>color camera.

For example, when a plurality of sensing units 12 can be used for a specific detection requirement, the priority of selection is as follows: If used to detect the distance between the user and the sensing unit 12, then proximity sensor > infrared camera; If used to detect facial information, then infrared camera > color camera; If it is used to detect the presence of a user, then proximity sensor > infrared camera > color camera.

It should be noted that the aforementioned embodiments also need to determine whether to use a specific shielding decision based on the type of the sensing unit 12 provided. For example, without a proximity sensor, distance-dependent masking decisions are disabled. For example, without a color camera, it is impossible to view highly correlated masking decisions. In addition, different masking decisions can be detected and different masking images can be provided. For example, the blocking decision of viewing time is to provide a rest screen, while for unregistered users, a security screen is provided. However, the displayed screen can still be changed according to actual needs.
