Description
本發明係關於一藥物輸送裝置,特別是有劑量設定方式的裝置。
市面上許多藥物輸送裝置以不同的驅動方式運作,能夠藉由致動而作用於藥物容器內的瓶塞上以經一藥物輸送構件排出一劑藥物。最普遍使用的驅動裝置種類是一螺旋纏繞壓縮彈簧。
一被壓縮的壓縮彈簧提供一夠大之力以克服所謂的瓶塞掙脫力,如:從該藥物容器的內牆鬆開瓶塞並能夠在預設時間內將液態藥物經該輸送構件的小通道擠出。再者,該彈簧完全延伸(通常不是完全解壓縮),可提供一夠大之力以完成劑量輸送,但也會造成玻璃藥物容器破碎。
有些要被輸送的物質種類黏稠度高,且因被使用的輸送構件通道非常小,需要很大的力量。換句話說,使用壓縮彈簧的裝置送到使用者手上時,彈簧處於壓縮且準備使用狀態,因使用者很難手動壓縮彈簧,且/或有彈簧壓縮機制的裝置體積龐大。
因壓縮彈簧的預先壓縮,特別是高濃度物質需要非常強的彈簧,儲存裝置時因材料(通常是塑膠,如:蠕變和老化)改變而有明顯的破碎風險。在此方面,壓縮彈簧並不理想。為解決此問題,一些使用扭力彈簧的裝置藉由使
用者在使用裝置時來繃緊彈簧(彈簧不需預先被繃緊),至少力量不會更大。一使用扭力彈簧的裝置揭露於文件WO2010/029043,此種彈簧纏繞並連接於一驅動構件,能夠藉由致動而驅動一驅動螺帽,以致一住塞桿(可操作地連接於該驅動螺帽)向近端移動,藉此一劑量藥物從藥物輸送構件被輸送。藉由一位於該裝置的外殼的側表面上的致動構件向近端滑動來致動該裝置和鬆開該彈簧。然而一些專利申請書中,在側表面上的致動構件位置對使用者來說並不理想,要視使用者較希望身上的注射處而定。該致動構件位在該裝置的末端區較佳。
文件UK2437924也關於一扭力彈簧裝置,有該致動旋鈕位於該外殼的一側面上。
因此此種藥物輸送裝置有進步空間。
本發明之目的為補救現今裝置的缺點。根據專利申請範圍獨立項,此目的藉由藥物輸送裝置達成。本發明較佳的實施方式由專利申請範圍附屬項形成。
根據本發明的主要方面,一藥物輸送裝置包括一外殼有至少一外殼部,該外殼用來接收藥物容器;一驅動單元用來作用於該藥物容器內的瓶塞上,該驅動單元包括一扭力驅動彈簧;一劑量設定構件可操作地連接於該驅動單元,以致手動旋轉該劑量設定構件造成該扭力驅動彈簧繃緊,其中該裝置又包括一致動機制有一致動鈕從該裝置的
末端突出,該致動機制可操作地連接於該驅動單元,以致該致動機制的致動造成該驅動單元鬆開,藉此輸送一劑藥物。
根據本發明的另一方面,該驅動單元包括一瘦長柱塞桿向該裝置縱向延伸,該柱塞桿外表面上設有螺紋且有一近端與該瓶塞接觸;一驅動螺帽設有一中心通道,設有螺紋與該柱塞桿的螺紋合作,且該驅動單元包括一驅動構件有一近端可操作地與該驅動螺帽嚙合且可驅動地連接於該扭力驅動彈簧,以致藉由該致動機制的致動,該驅動螺帽和該驅動構件被旋轉,藉此該柱塞桿被向該裝置近端移動。
根據本發明的另一方面,該致動機制包括致動構件附接於該致動鈕,且向該裝置近端延伸,一驅動螺帽鎖構件附接於該致動構件,該驅動螺帽鎖構件經與鎖住構件合作,可鬆開地與該驅動螺帽嚙合並鎖住,直到該致動鈕向近端移動為止,藉此該驅動螺帽被鬆開。
根據本發明的又另一方面,該驅動螺帽和該驅動單元的該驅動構件經楔型棘輪可操作地連接,一方面當該驅動構件藉由該扭力驅動彈簧的致動而旋轉時,使該驅動螺帽旋轉,因此驅動該柱塞桿以從該藥物容器排出一藥物劑量,另一方面,該劑量設定構件可操作地連接於該驅動構件以致手動操作該劑量設定構件造成該驅動構件相對於該驅動螺帽旋轉,以設定藥物劑量從該藥物容器排出,使該扭力驅動彈簧轉向。
根據本發明的又另一方面,該裝置包括一劑量桶可旋轉地設於該外殼內,劑量桶可操作地連接於該劑量設定構件,且其中該劑量桶設有標示於其外表面上,可從該外殼的窗口看見,當使用者旋轉該劑量設定構件時該標示顯示了所設定的劑量。
根據本發明的又另一方面,該劑量桶的外表面上設有螺紋,與該外殼的內表面上相應的螺紋合作。
根據本發明的另一方面,該標示螺旋地位於該劑量桶上。
根據本發明的又另一方面,該劑量設定構件和該驅動構件可倚著彈簧之力向末端軸向移動,以致該劑量構件向末端位移造成該棘輪互相分開而可重設劑量。
根據本發明的另一方面,該外殼包括一末端部和一近端部,其中該近端部用來容納該藥物容器,且其中該外殼部設有可鬆開附接裝置。
根據本發明的又另一方面,該裝置又包括一導引構件用來可旋轉地鎖住該柱塞桿,其中設有該附接裝置以當該外殼部互相附接時,作用於該導引構件上並鎖住該導引構件,且其中當該外殼部互相從對方分離時,該導引構件和該柱塞桿可自由旋轉,藉此當一新的藥物容器被使用時,該柱塞桿可向末端移動至初始位置。
本發明有許多優點。當該致動鈕位於該裝置的末端區時,向近端延伸致動構件的使用啟動該裝置且鬆開該扭力驅動彈簧。這對許多使用者來說是優點,因他們能夠支撐
住該裝置以用大拇指操作該致動鈕。若該裝置是一注射器且較佳輸送處在大腿、肚子或手臂,此種握取方式較佳。
且使用該驅動構件可操作地連接於該驅動螺帽,該驅動構件可操作地連接於該扭力驅動彈簧,提供許多可能。其一是該驅動構件和該驅動螺帽朝一旋轉方向鎖在一起(如當要輸送一劑量時),並從相反旋轉方向互相鬆開。這使該驅動構件在不需旋轉該驅動螺帽的情況下可藉由該劑量設定機制旋轉來設定所要的劑量。再者,該驅動構件的旋轉造成該扭力驅動彈簧的繃緊。因此該裝置不需儲存預先繃緊彈簧。
具有螺紋的劑量桶朝縱向移動,可以有多種且大尺寸的標示的優點,因可被使用的長度遠大於該裝置的圓周。因此也可能需要將該劑量設定構件旋轉超過360度來操作劑量。
再者,該裝置設有簡單又有效的用來替換使用過的藥物容器的裝置,重新設定柱塞桿至起始位置對使用者來並說不複雜。
本發明的這些和其他方面及優點,從本發明以下詳細說明和附圖將顯而易見。
在本申請案中,當使用「遠側部/遠側端」一詞時,其意指在使用藥物輸送裝置時,藥物輸送裝置或是其構件離藥物輸送位置最遠的部分或末端。相應之下,當使用
「近側部/近側端」時,則意指在使用藥物輸送裝置時,藥物輸送裝置或其構件離藥物輸送位置最近的部分或末端。
該藥物輸送裝置的實施例顯示於圖中包括一普通管狀延伸末端外殼部10,有一近端設有附接裝置12。該附接裝置12(實施例中標示的螺紋)與相應的近端外殼部16近端上的附接裝置14(圖3)合作,以鬆開該外殼部的附接。可理解其他種附接構件也可被使用。且該裝置可依照應用和製造層面而包括其他外殼部。
該近端外殼部16設有近端頸部18,有附接構件用來與相應的藥物輸送構件(如:注射針、一噴嘴或一噴鼻器、一噴霧器等等)上的附接構件合作(未標示)。該近端外殼部16也可用來容納一藥物容器20,有一近端頸部21合入該近端外殼部16的頸部18。該近端外殼部16又設有窗口或開口22,可從其中看見藥物容器,且若該容器是以透明材質製成,該藥物容器20的內容物就可被使用者看見。依保護蓋23可鬆開地設於該近端外殼部。
該裝置又包括一驅動單元25,包括普通瘦長柱塞桿24作用於一瓶塞27上(圖3),可移動地位於該藥物容器20內。該柱塞桿24設有螺紋26於其外表面上,螺紋26與相應的驅動單元25的驅動螺帽30(圖5)的螺紋28合作。再者一導引構件32(圖4)環繞於該柱塞桿24,導引構件32設有一中心通道34有向內延伸突起36合入該柱塞桿24的瘦長凹槽38中,使在兩者之間旋轉鎖住。再者,
該導引構件32外表面上設有突起39合入該末端外殼部10近端上的斷流器40內(圖2),藉此當該近端16和末端10外殼部互相連接時,該導引構件32可相對於該末端外殼部10旋轉地鎖住。
該驅動螺帽30的末端設有楔型圓周棘輪42(圖5),與相應的驅動單元25包含的驅動構件46的近端向楔形棘輪44合作。該驅動構件46通常為管狀且環繞該柱塞桿24。在其外面上設有一圓周地延伸突起48(圖5)。該驅動單元的一扭力驅動彈簧50設於該驅動構件46周圍,有一末端附接於該突起48。該扭力驅動彈簧50的近端附接於該外殼。該驅動構件46末端周圍設有許多楔形突起52。該突起52與劑量設定鈕56的內表面上的徑向彈性臂54合作,鈕56可旋轉於該外殼內且可穿過外殼內的斷流器58來操作(圖2)。該劑量設定鈕56藉由圓周突起60而被縱向支撐於該驅動構件46的末端(圖5)。

該裝置也包括一致動機制76(圖2),包括一環形驅動螺帽鎖構件78,其內表面上有齒條鎖構件80,該齒條80與縱向延伸突起82合作(圖5),環繞於該驅動螺帽30的外表面。有兩臂84(圖2)附接於該致動機制的驅動螺帽鎖構件78,該臂84形成致動構件且延伸於該末端外殼部10的內表面上的縱向延伸凹槽86內(圖7)。該臂84設有附接裝置88,用來與相應的兩近端向臂92上的附接裝置90合作,該臂92附接於一致動鈕94,該鈕94經該末端外殼部內的一末端開口突出。一彈簧96(圖3)位於該致動鈕94的一近端向端牆98和該驅動構件46的一內牆100之間(圖3),以迫使該致動鈕94朝末端方向移動。
該裝置欲運作如下。當送達使用者時,該裝置可以是已被安裝於該近端外殼部16內的藥物容器20以準備使用,或是與藥物容器20分開送達。後者,使用者將近端外殼部和末端外殼部分離,置入該藥物容器並重新連接該外殼部。
當一藥物劑量被輸送時,該保護蓋23被移除,且一藥物輸送構件被附接於該近端外殼部的頸部18。下一步是設定要輸送的藥物劑量。此可藉由旋轉該劑量設定鈕56一特定角度距離來完成。因該劑量設定鈕56的該臂54作用於該驅動構件46的該楔形突起52上,此旋轉也造成該驅動構件46被旋轉。該驅動構件46的旋轉因附接於該驅動構件46的突起48而造成該扭力彈簧50被繃緊。該驅動構件46的棘輪44會滑過該驅動螺帽30的棘輪42,且
後者可藉由該鎖住構件而固定住,如:該驅動螺帽鎖構件78的齒條80嚙合於該驅動螺帽30的突起82(圖8)。再者,該劑量桶62也會因與該驅動構件46的突起48內的斷流器74內的突起72連接而旋轉。該劑量桶62的旋轉會因其螺旋凹槽64與該末端外殼部10的內表面的突起66合作而造成向末端移動。在該劑量桶旋轉過程中,指標68會經過窗口直到合適的劑量顯示於該窗口為止。
若使用者不慎設定大於預設的劑量,使用者可倚著該彈簧96之力向末端拉該劑量設定鈕56。故將該末端外殼部10內的該斷流器58做較大。該劑量設定鈕的末端面與位在該驅動構件46的該末端的突起60接觸,藉此該驅動構件46也會向末端移動。這造成該驅動構件46的棘輪44與該驅動螺帽的棘輪42分離,藉此可能可以將該劑量設定鈕56、該驅動構件46和該劑量桶62轉回。
當該劑量被設定完成時,下一步就是輸送該設定劑量。然後該裝置的近端和該藥物輸送構件被置於該藥劑輸送處。使用者將該致動鈕94向近端壓。造成該鎖住構件78和其齒條80藉由該臂84、92向近端移,使得該齒條80與該驅動螺帽30之臂82分離(圖9)。現在該驅動螺帽30可自由旋轉,因該棘輪42、44之間鎖住的連接且扭力彈簧50的彈簧力作用於該驅動構件46上。因該驅動螺帽30作用於該柱塞桿24的螺紋26,且因該柱塞桿24和該導引構件32之間的旋轉鎖住連接(由於該突起36合入該凹槽38),該驅動螺帽30的旋轉造成該柱塞桿24向近端
移動。該柱塞桿24的移動造成該瓶塞27向近端移動進入該藥物容器20內,造成一藥物劑量經由該藥物輸送構件排出。再者該驅動構件46的旋轉造成劑量桶62旋轉回該初始位置,如:藉由”0”來指示。
並且為了降低風險,該使用者防止該劑量設定鈕56、該驅動構件46和該驅動螺帽30的旋轉,如:預防藥劑輸送,若使用者握取該裝置,則手會與該劑量設定鈕56接觸,因該劑量設定鈕56的該彈性臂54現在滑過該驅動構件46的楔形突起52(圖5),所以該驅動構件46和該驅動螺帽可自由轉回。
以上所述之劑量設定和劑量輸送程序可重複以用於多種劑量,較佳為每一劑量都有一新的消毒藥物輸送構件,直到該藥物容器成空為止。該空的藥物容器現在可藉由該近端外殼部從該末端外殼部10分離而被新的容器替換。因該導引構件32不再藉該外殼部來鎖住,所以可將該柱塞桿轉回其初始位置。
應理解以上描述之實施例和圖中所顯示者,只被視為本發明之非限制性之範例,且本發明在本專利權範圍內可以許多方式修改。

Claims (10)
- 一種藥物輸送裝置,包括:一外殼(10、16)有至少一外殼部(10、16),該外殼用來接收藥物容器(20);一驅動單元(25)用來作用於該藥物容器(20)內的瓶塞(27)上,該驅動單元(25)包括一扭力驅動彈簧(50);一劑量設定構件(56)可操作地連接於該驅動單元(25),以致手動旋轉該劑量設定構件(56)造成該扭力驅動彈簧(50)繃緊,其特徵為該裝置又包括一致動機制(76)有一致動鈕(94)從該裝置的末端突出,該致動機制(76)可操作地連接於該驅動單元(25),以致該致動機制(76)的致動造成該驅動單元(25)鬆開,藉此輸送一劑藥物。
- 根據申請專利範圍第1項之藥物輸送裝置,其中該驅動單元包括一瘦長柱塞桿(24)向該裝置縱向延伸,該柱塞桿外表面上設有螺紋(26)且有一近端與該瓶塞(27)接觸;一驅動螺帽(30)設有一中心通道,設有螺紋(28)與該柱塞桿的螺紋合作,且該驅動單元(25)包括一驅動構件(46)有一近端可操作地與該驅動螺帽(30)嚙合且可驅動地連接於該扭力驅動彈簧(50),以致藉由該致動機制(76)的致動,該驅動螺帽 (30)和該驅動構件(46)被旋轉,藉此該柱塞桿(24)被向該裝置近端移動。
- 根據申請專利範圍第2項之藥物輸送裝置,其中該致動機制(76)包括致動構件(84、92)附接於該致動鈕(94),且向該裝置近端延伸,一驅動螺帽鎖構件(78)附接於該致動構件(84、92),該驅動螺帽鎖構件(78)經與鎖住構件(80、82)合作,可鬆開地與該驅動螺帽(30)嚙合並鎖住,直到該致動鈕(94)向近端移動為止,藉此該驅動螺帽(30)被鬆開。
- 根據申請專利範圍第3項之藥物輸送裝置,其中該驅動螺帽(30)和該驅動單元(25)的該驅動構件(50)經楔型棘輪(42、44)可操作地連接,一方面當該驅動構件(46)藉由該扭力驅動彈簧(50)的致動而旋轉時,使該驅動螺帽(30)旋轉,因此驅動該柱塞桿以從該藥物容器排出一藥物劑量,另一方面,該劑量設定構件(56)可操作地連接於該驅動構件(46)以致手動操作該劑量設定構件(56)造成該驅動構件(46)相對於該驅動螺帽(30)旋轉,以設定藥物劑量從該藥物容器排出,使該扭力驅動彈簧(50)轉向。
- 根據申請專利範圍前任一項之藥物輸送裝置,其中該裝置又包括一劑量桶(62)可旋轉地設於該外殼(10)內,劑量桶(62)可操作地連接於該劑量設定構件(56),且其中該劑量桶(62)設有標示(68)於其外表面上,可從該外殼(10)的窗口(70)看見,當使用者旋轉該劑量設定構件(56)時該標示(68)顯示了所設定的劑量。
- 根據申請專利範圍第5項之藥物輸送裝置,其中該劑量桶(62)的外表面上設有螺紋(64),與該外殼(10)的內表面上相應的螺紋(66)合作。
- 根據申請專利範圍第6項之藥物輸送裝置,其中該標示(68)螺旋地位於該劑量桶(62)上。
- 根據申請專利範圍第4項之藥物輸送裝置,其中該劑量設定構件(56)和該驅動構件(46)可倚著彈簧(96)之力向末端軸向移動,以致該劑量構件(56)向末端位移造成該棘輪(42、44)互相分開而可重設劑量。
- 根據申請專利範圍1~4項中任一項之藥物輸送裝置,其中該外殼包括一末端部(10)和一近端部(16),其中該近端部(16)用來容納該藥物容器(20),且其中該外殼部設有可鬆開附接裝置(12、14)。
- 根據申請專利範圍第9項之藥物輸送裝置,其中該裝置又包括一導引構件(32)用來可旋轉地鎖住該柱塞桿(24),其中設有該附接裝置(12、14)以當該外殼部(10、12)互相附接時,作用於該導引構件(32)上並鎖住該導引構件(32),且其中當該外殼部互相從對方分離時,該導引構件(32)和該柱塞桿(24)可自由旋轉,藉此當一新的藥物容器(20)被使用時,該柱塞桿(24)可向末端移動至初始位置。
