Description
本發明係有關於斯賓諾辛(SPINOSYN)燻劑。
一種常用來清除害蟲之方法為燻蒸法。燻劑廣泛用於殺蟲以及防護避免受到病蟲害的侵擾,此等為保護溫室植物、粒狀材料(例如穀物)及其它儲存產物(例如菸草及食品)以及空間(例如建築物)所需。但因燻劑使用時需要高度揮發性,例行上只使用少數幾種化學品。
如此處使用之「燻劑」一詞係指一種殺蟲組成物,該殺蟲組成物可呈超小體積小滴(煙霧)或蒸氣形式揮發來控制於倉儲、建築物、溫室、船舶、火車車廂、儲存產品內的害蟲,控制食品、植物、其它活生物體上的害蟲,或控制容易受到害蟲攻擊,換言之害蟲侵擾的密閉空間之害蟲。「燻蒸」一詞係指將此種分散的殺蟲劑組成物用於控制害蟲。
小滴大小將決定殺蟲劑小滴可維持懸浮於空氣中的時間,由一個給定體積之殺蟲劑所將產生的小滴數目,以及接受處理的表面或區域將被各個小滴所覆蓋的面積大小。須區別以下各類:a.粗噴霧劑,小滴直徑為400微米或以上;b.細噴霧劑,小滴直徑由100微米至400微米;
c.霧劑(mists),小滴直徑由50微米至100微米;d.氣溶膠噴霧劑、霧劑(fogs)及超小體積(ULV)霧劑或煙霧劑,粒子或小滴的直徑係於0.1微米至50微米之範圍[係經由將殺蟲劑注入熱空氣噴霧中產生(熱霧)、與液化氣體混合且通過小孔口釋放而產生(氣溶膠噴霧劑)、經由極為細小噴嘴霧化、或由高速轉子旋轉噴出];f.蒸氣劑,其中全部粒子之直徑皆係小於0.001微米(由熱產生器而產生);g.氣體。
本發明係針對利用一種或多種斯賓諾辛化合物之燻蒸方法。
於一個實施例中,本發明係針對一種利用分散成具有直徑於0.1微米至50微米之範圍之小滴或粒子形式之斯賓諾辛組成物之燻蒸方法。
更特定之實施例中,本發明提供一種殺蟲且保護植物或植物產品之方法,該方法包含:將植物或植物產品侷限於密閉空間,將呈具有直徑於0.1微米至50微米之範圍之小滴或粒子形式之斯賓諾辛組成物分散於該空間內部。
也提供一種保護儲存產品之方法,該方法包含將該儲存產品侷限於一密閉空間內部,且於該空間內部以具有直徑於0.1微米至50微米範圍之小滴或粒子形式分散一種包含斯賓諾沙(spinosad)及液體載劑之組成物。
用於進行本發明之斯賓諾辛組成物較佳為斯賓諾沙或斯賓內托(spinetoram)或其有機可溶性鹽溶解或懸浮於惰性液體載劑。
斯賓諾辛化合物包含5,6,5-三環系之環系稠合至一個12員巨環系內酯,中性糖(鼠李糖)及胺基糖(弗洛沙明(forosamine))所組成(參考Kirst等人(1991))。天然斯賓諾辛化合物可透過發酵而由美國農業部農業研究服務中西區北區研究中心(伊利諾州61604,皮歐利,北大學路1815號)的儲備培養收集中寄存號碼NRRL 18719、18537、18538、18539、18743、18395及18823之培養發酵而製造。斯賓諾辛化合物也揭示於美國專利案5,496,931、5,670,364、5,591,606、5,571,901、5,202,242、5,767,253、5,840,861、5,670,486及5,631,155。天然斯賓諾辛化合物之衍生物偶而也稱作為斯賓諾梭(spinosoids)係揭示於US 6,001,981。斯賓諾辛類可呈鹽形式單離,也可用於本發明之方法。鹽類係使用鹽類之標準製備程序製備。例如斯賓諾辛可以適當酸中和來形成酸加成鹽。代表性之適當酸加成鹽類包括經由與下列有機酸或無機酸反應所形成之鹽類,例如硫酸、鹽酸、磷酸、乙酸、丁二酸、檸檬酸、乳酸、順丁烯二酸、反丁烯二酸、膽酸、巴姆酸(pamoic acid)、黏酸、麩胺酸、樟腦酸、戊二酸、乙醇酸、鄰苯二甲酸、酒石酸、甲酸、月桂酸、硬脂酸、水楊酸、甲磺酸、苯磺酸、山梨酸、苦味酸、苯甲酸、桂皮酸等酸。如此處使用,「斯賓諾辛」一詞也包括斯賓諾梭及酸加成鹽。
斯賓諾沙係陶氏農科公司(印地安納州,印地安納玻利市)所製造的殺蟲劑,斯賓諾沙主要包含85%斯賓諾辛A及約15%斯賓諾辛D。如美國專利案5,362,634之揭示,斯賓諾辛A及斯賓諾辛D為經由刺狀糖多孢菌(Saccharopolyspora spinosa)發酵所製造的天然產品。斯賓諾沙為市面上可得自陶氏農科公司之數種殺蟲劑配方包括翠瑟(TRACER)、沙瑟斯(SUCCESS)、斯賓托(SPINTOR)、及康瑟夫(CONSERVE)昆蟲控制產品之活性成分。例如,翠瑟產品包含約44%至約48%斯賓諾沙(w/v),或每加侖約4磅斯賓諾沙。呈顆粒及液體配方之斯賓諾辛化合物已經確知可用於控制蛛形綱動物、線蟲及昆蟲,特別為鱗翅目(Lepidoptera)、纓翅目(Thysanoptera)、及雙翅目(Diptera)種屬。由於斯賓諾辛為具有低揮發性之大型分子,故先前未曾預期斯賓諾辛可用作為燻劑。
用於實施本發明特別令人感興趣之其它斯賓諾辛化合物為5,6-二氫-3’-乙氧基斯賓諾辛J及3’-乙氧基斯賓諾辛L。此二化合物係揭示於美國專利案6,001,981之實例A25及實例A38。其為天然斯賓諾辛化合物之衍生物,分別為斯賓諾辛J及斯賓諾辛L。
斯賓內托(前稱DE-175)為陶氏農科公司所開發的5,6-二氫-3’-乙氧基斯賓諾辛J(主要成分)及3’-乙氧基斯賓諾辛L之混合物。該混合物可經由將斯賓諾辛J與斯賓諾辛L之混合物乙氧化,接著氫化而製備。由於斯賓諾辛L於C-5之甲基及其3’-乙氧基衍生物之立體封阻,故斯賓諾辛J之5,6雙鍵及其3’-乙氧基比斯賓諾辛L之5,6雙鍵及其3’-乙氧基衍生物更容易被氫化。
出乎意外地,斯賓諾辛組成物可以足夠濃度呈ULV噴霧劑或霧劑分散,來使用習知燻蒸裝置有效控制害蟲,燻蒸裝置例如ULV噴霧器及冷噴霧器、熱噴霧器、可燃性燻蒸產品(諸如噴霧罐或線圈例如蚊香)及熱氣化器諸如噴霧器及墊型裝置。
本發明使用之斯賓諾辛組成物可為斯賓諾辛或斯賓諾辛有機可溶性鹽於非水性溶劑之溶液或乳液。適當非水性溶劑之實例為含1至10個碳原子之烷醇類諸如甲醇、乙醇、正丙醇、異丙醇、正丁醇、第二丁醇、第三丁醇、異丁醇、戊醇、己醇、庚醇、辛醇、壬醇、癸醇等;烴溶劑諸如己烷、辛烷、環戊烷、苯、甲苯、二甲苯酚等;鹵化烴溶劑諸如四氯化碳、三氯乙烯、四氯乙烷、二氯苯等;醚溶劑諸如乙醚、丁醚、乙二醇二乙醚、乙二醇一乙醚;酮溶劑諸如丙酮、異丁酮、甲基丙基甲酮、甲基戊基甲酮、環己酮等;酯溶劑諸如甲酸乙酯、乙酸甲酯、乙酸丙酯、乙酸苯酯、乙二醇一乙醚乙酸酯等;醇溶劑諸如二丙酮醇等;及高沸烴溶劑。
ULV噴霧器也稱作為氣溶膠產生器或冷噴霧器(由於配方無需加熱)及熱噴霧器(其中殺蟲劑被注入熱空氣的噴霧中)適合用於實施本發明,該等噴霧器為技藝界眾所周知且可由市面上購得,例如得自柯提氏代納法格公司(Curtis Dyna-Fog Ltd.)美國印地安納州uu46074西野,郵政信箱297號,http://www.dynafog.com

US 4,871,115揭示適合用於實施本發明之煙霧產生裝置。
US 4,777,032揭示適合用於實施本發明之可燃性燻蒸裝置。該裝置包含其中已經摻混殺蟲劑紙張。燃燒紙張來散發出殺蟲劑。為了確保利用只含有小量煙霧且於有限溫度源自於特殊燃燒反應俾便不會造成活性化合物的分解之大量燃燒氣體來有效快速散發殺蟲劑,紙張為基於硝基纖維素的紙張,其中氮之比例係大於5%,纖維係由纖維素與硝基纖維素纖維之混合物所組成,此混合物包含至少18%纖維素纖維,活性化合物具有分解溫度高於130℃。
可燃線圈屬於另一種氣化材料(例如殺蟲劑、燻香等)之已知方法。有關可燃性線圈之代表性專利案為美國專利案3,248,287、3,723,615、3,819,823、4,144,318、5,657,574及6,419,898。此等裝置為含有昆蟲控制成分例如驅逐劑、殺蟲劑或昆蟲生長調節劑之可緩慢燃燒的固體材料之線圈。當線圈燃燒時,加熱氣化(因而分散)昆蟲控制成分。小量煙也有助於分散昆蟲控制成分。此種裝置為習用來控制蚊子的手段。蚊香常用來擊落或驅除居住空間中的飛行昆蟲。傳統蚊香組成物包括約25%或以上製備除蟲菊所得之殘渣,稱作為除蟲菊渣,相信此種材料為製造有用之蚊香之必需成分。除了除蟲菊渣之外,主要用於蚊香的燃燒劑或燃料為椰子殼粉、塔布(tabu)粉、鋸木粉、經過研磨的葉子、經過研磨的樹皮、澱粉等。
熱氣化器包括襯墊型熱氣化器,其中含浸有殺蟲劑溶液的襯墊用來放置於熱板上,來將殺蟲劑氣化進入周圍空氣中。參考美國專利案6,031,967及6,551,560。此等裝置習知用於控制蚊蟲。
當使用殺蟲劑線圈時,惰性撐體例如為除蟲菊渣化合物、塔布粉(或紅楠(Machilus thumbergii)葉粉)、除蟲菊莖粉、杉木葉粉、鋸木粉(例如松木鋸木粉)、澱粉及椰子殼粉。活性成分之劑量為0.03%至1%重量比。於使用不可燃性含纖維撐體(襯墊)時,活性材料之劑量為0.03%至95%重量比。
本發明例如可用於保護儲存的穀物或儲存的食物諸如麪粉或膳食或動物飼料。
於一個實施例中,本發明提供一種使用斯賓諾辛藉燻蒸來於諸如菸草之農產品殺蟲之方法。儲存菸草和菸草製品的主要病蟲害為菸草甲(Laisoderma serricorne)。過去50年來使用諸如氫氰酸、甲基溴及磷化氫等毒性燻蒸劑來燻蒸菸草及其它農產品用來控制菸葉甲及其它儲存產品的昆蟲。過去數年間由於主管機關考慮到工作人員曝露於殺蟲劑、農產品上的殺蟲劑殘餘物、燻蒸劑的可燃性以及空氣污染及水污染,因此對此等燻蒸劑及其它燻蒸劑的使用漸趨嚴格。
本發明之燻蒸方法可用來控制節肢動物門(Phylum Arthropoda)之害蟲。
於一個實施例中,本發明可用來控制六足亞門(Subphylum Hexapoda)之害蟲。更特別,本發明可用於控制昆蟲綱(Class Insecta)之害蟲。例如本發明之燻蒸法可用於控制鞘翅目(甲蟲)、革翅目(蠖螋)、網翅目(蟑螂)、雙翅目(真蠅)、半翅目(真蝽象)、同翅目(蚜蟲、介殼蟲、白蠅、浮塵子)、膜翅目(螞蟻、胡蜂及蜜蜂)、等翅目(白蟻)、鱗翅目(蛾及蝴蝶)、食毛目(咀嚼虱)、直翅目(蝗蟲、蚱蜢及蟋蟀)、毛蝨目(吸吮虱)、微翅目(跳蚤)、及纓翅目(薊馬)。
於另一個實施例中,本發明之燻蒸法可用於控制螯肢亞門(Subphylum Chelicerata)之害蟲。更特別,本發明之燻蒸法可用於控制蛛形綱(Class Arachnida)之害蟲。例如本發明之燻蒸法可用於控制蜱蟎目(Acarina)(蟎及蜱)。
進行實驗室試驗來測試斯賓諾沙及斯賓內托透過熱噴霧器輸送之殺蟲活性。試驗昆蟲包括(Aedes aegypti)黃熱病蚊;(Drosophila melanogaster)果蠅;(Musca domestica)家蠅;及(Plodia interpunctella)印度麩蛾。
試驗室
。試驗室係由PVC管狀撐體結構懸吊聚乙烯(PE)袋所製成。袋為3密耳厚度PE棘爪蓋,此處48吋寬×48吋直徑×102吋高(優連(ULINE)產品型號S-8366),包封的內部容積約為100立方呎。試驗室的底板係密封於平坦的4密耳厚度PE薄片。共製造5個試驗室來配合4次重複處理以及一個溶劑空白對照組。全部試驗室皆只使用一次然後拋棄。
盛裝籠
。對黃熱病蚊、家蠅、及印度麩蛾,盛裝籠係由18×16網眼標準鋁昆蟲網製成。製作成直徑3.5吋高5.5吋的盛裝籠。盛裝籠的底板和天花板為無菌壓克力培養皿蓋和培養皿底。各個盛裝籠內由7.5毫升玻璃瓶和無菌棉芯供給昆蟲10%蔗糖溶液。對果蠅,將具有0.8毫米網開口的白色聚酯蚊帳黏至水果瓶蓋,且置於培養皿底部內來形成適當的盛裝籠。由2毫升玻璃瓶供應糖水。
熱噴霧器裝置
。代納法格(Dynafog)翠爾布雷(Trailblazer)型號2600E,3系列熱噴霧器用來施用藥品。噴霧器係設計成每小時輸送19升調配物,噴霧的粒徑係於0.5-50微米之範圍。噴霧器係設計用來施用於大於500立方呎的封閉空間。結果,該噴霧器可修改成施用較小型容積,配合100立方呎試驗室。
全部輸送調配物的軟管都縮小成為3.2毫米外徑×2.0毫米內徑尼龍管。調配物槽縮小成為250毫升HDPE瓶,附有適當的配件來匹配尼龍管。噴霧器的開關被跳掉,改用手動撥鈕開關來取代。此種組態使用針閥調整,經過校準來輸送每小時約4.0升。
昆蟲處理
。藉由從培養瓶中選出經過二氧化碳麻醉的印度麩蛾來完成收集。成黃熱病蚊、家蠅、及果蠅從培養瓶中吸收入50毫升盛裝瓶內,然後使用二氧化碳麻醉及收集。試驗開始前讓全部的昆蟲至少從麻醉中恢復歷時1小時時間。各次重複試驗使用50雙成蟲。在處理中間死亡或受傷的昆蟲都標示為處理前死亡率資料。
施藥
。試驗用調配物包含1.1%斯賓諾沙(90%純度),1.5%肉豆蔻酸異丙酯(柯尼斯公司(Cognis Corporation):俄亥俄州,辛辛那提),4.0%艾莫索(Emersol)213(柯尼斯公司),及93.4%艾克索(Exxsol)D80(艾克森莫比公司(ExxonMobil);德州,休士頓);或1.2%斯賓內托(81%純度),1.5%肉豆蔻酸異丙酯(柯尼斯公司),4.0%艾莫索213(柯尼斯公司),及93.3%艾克索D80(艾克森莫比公司)。只使用溶劑混合物的空白處理是對照處理之一。其它對照處理則為不含活性成分之溶劑。
全部施藥皆係於約71-72℉之室溫進行。恰在處理前全部昆蟲盛裝籠置於試驗室角落的掛鈎上,或於果蠅的情況下則將試驗盛裝籠置於地板上。
噴霧器內填裝調配物,只使用溶劑來清潔管線。校準後調整流速成為每秒輸送約1毫升。對各配方之一次試驗採用下列步驟1-11:1.打開噴霧器,讓溫度溫熱(3-5分鐘)。
2.於每個處理回合前,開啟撥鈕閥門讓調配物填充管路(約50毫升)。
3.調配物槽內的調配物量於沙托利斯(Sartorius)BL 1500天平上稱重,然後重新接到噴霧器上。
4.將噴霧器置於處理室內矩形開口的前方。開啟數位計時器,開啟撥鈕閥門來施用調配物或溶劑。
5. 5秒至7秒後,關閉撥鈕閥門,關閉噴霧器。
6.即刻使用包裝膠帶密封矩形開口。
7.稱重調配物槽,記錄重量差異,以及施用時間的秒數。
8.重新接回槽,對其次三個處理室重複步驟4至步驟7。
9.當完成4個處理室時,使用清潔溶劑(約50毫升)沖洗噴霧器來由噴霧器中去除調配物。
10.將只含有溶劑的新的調配物槽先稱重然後接到噴霧器上。
11.噴霧器內填裝溶劑,然後對溶劑空白處理室重複步驟3至步驟7。
未經處理的對照試驗籠維持於有相同溫度及光照條件下的相鄰室內。
功效評估
。於1小時、4小時、18小時、及24小時記錄施藥的效果。對全部處理組、溶劑對照組、及未經處理的對照試驗籠,於各個間隔時間記錄死亡昆蟲數。
使用斯賓諾沙控制成家蠅(Musca domestica)。
使用斯賓諾沙控制成果蠅(Drosophila melanogaster)。
使用斯賓諾沙控制2日齡成印度麩蛾(Plodia interpunctella)。

使用斯賓諾沙控制成黃熱病蚊(Aedes aegypti)。
使用斯賓諾沙控制成家蠅(Musca domestica)。
使用斯賓諾沙控制成果蠅(Drosophila melanogaster)。
使用斯賓諾沙控制2日齡印度麩蛾(Plodia interpunctella)。
使用斯賓諾沙控制4日齡印度麩蛾(Plodia interpunctella)。
使用斯賓諾沙控制成黃熱病蚊(Aedes aegypti)。
配方例1可燃線圈首先將0.5克斯賓內托溶解於20毫升丙酮。均勻攪拌溶液,溶液與99.4克蚊香載劑(樟腦粉:渣滓粉:木粉=4:3:3之混合物)。於其中添加120毫升水,將混合物徹底混練,接著為成形及乾燥來獲得可燃線圈。
配方例2線圈0.5克斯賓內托溶解於20毫升丙酮。溶液於攪拌下與99.4克蚊香載劑(經由以4:3:3比例混合塔布粉、除蟲菊渣粉及木粉而製備)均勻混合。混合物與120毫升水徹底混練、成型及乾燥來獲得可燃蚊香。
配方例3電氣襯墊丙酮添加至0.5克斯賓內托及0.4克丁氧化胡椒烯來溶解各成分來製備總量為10毫升之溶液。2.5厘米×1.5厘米×0.3厘米厚之電氣襯墊基材(棉絮與木漿之混合物之原纖維經過硬化成為片狀物)均勻含浸以前述溶液來獲得電氣襯墊。
配方例4熱發煙劑首先100毫克斯賓內托溶解於適量丙酮。4.0厘米×4.0厘米×1.2厘米厚之多孔陶瓷片含浸於所得溶液來獲得熱發煙劑。
電熱襯墊含浸於斯賓諾沙,當根據標準方案(SANS方法6136)試驗時,證實可控制成蚊。

- 一種節肢動物害蟲控制方法,包含於期望控制節肢動物害蟲之一空間內分散一包含斯賓內托(spinetoram)及液體載劑的組成物,其中該組成物係以具有直徑在0.001微米或更小之液滴或粒子形式分散來製造蒸氣。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中該組成物係分散於一密閉空間內。
- 一種於一空間殺蟲之方法,包含於該空間以具有直徑於0.001微米或更小之液滴或粒子形式分散包含斯賓內托及非水性有機溶劑之組成物來製造蒸氣。
