糸樹脂或不飽和聚酯樹脂,僳被加熱至約15010至300它, 或利用光線照射,而予以被覆及硬化至該微細的顆粒之表 面上。亦有可能黏附水玻璃,釉等至微細顆粒之表面上, 並在800至1100^之溫度烘烤以形成無機被覆層。 此被覆層大大的改善微細顆粒對整體結構之親和力, 其像扮演人造石材之聚集作用之功能。進一步,當其完全 的混合時,強度及表面硬度會增加。 更重要的,撤細顆粒僳透明的天然石材等,且其表面 如上所述般偽以堅硬薄膜被覆之。當人造石材經予研磨時 此薄膜像部分的破裂,且部分暴露的透明撤細顆粒及画繞 著微細顆粒之部分暴露匾域之被覆層之表面共同製造出反 射光線之獨特效果。 此意指光輻射線進入透明的撤細顆粒,被周困的被覆 層所反射,且經由透明的微細顆粒射回。此光傳送及反射 之現象基本上與在習用的人造石材所觀測的表面反射傺不 同的,且賦與依本發明之人造石材獮待的色彩深度。所得 的人造石材外觀上與大理石相似,為堅實者,具有色彩深 度且颶於高品質。 上述具有被覆層之透明的微細頼粒通常可逹組成物中 所含的全部無機黴細顆粒之10至100重量〆。 於本發明中有必要特定無機撤細顆粒之尺度。尤其無 機微細顆粒之尺度應為前述的10至70篩目。除在特別情況 下外,最好僅應使用相同尺度之擻細顆粒。為區分時可使 I--------Cr 裝 I-------訂—-----^ 下,其必須小至足夠能完全穿透入撇細顆粒間之空隙,與 微細顆粒之尺度相近者並不適宜。為予特定,尺度應在 150至250篩目為宜。 對本發明之高密度人造石材而言,除特別情況外,確 認組成物之成分均勻的分散於製品中亦靨重要的。 以研磨製品之外表面為較宜的。換言之,撤細顙粒之 被覆層如上所述般僳在至少位於製品之表面上部分的破裂 0 研磨像曝露本發明之具有色彩深度之高密度人造石材
