Abstract
An insulated electrical conductor having improved flex life comprises an elongated electrical conductor and electrical insulation surrounding the conductor. The insulation has three layers: an inner layer which is a wrapped polymeric tape or an extended polymeric layer; and intermediate layer which is a polymeric adhesive layer; and outer layer which is an extruded polymeric layer. The adhesive layer adheres to both the inner layer and the outer layer.
