Abstract

An apparatus for use in the treatment of workpiece, where air injection stream passes through the nozzles (26) to the workpiece surface for processing, including the apparatus: a first chamber (32), forming an inflating inner chamber, a fan (30), having a blade, for pushing air into the first chamber (32), a second chamber (36), having one or more walls, with a nozzle (26), through which air is pushed into the first chamber from the nozzle (26) and led into the second chamber (36); and workpiece supporting means and drive (16, 20), for supporting the workpiece, for exposure of each of the surface of the workpiece for processing for driving the workpiece through the second chamber (36) along the path of the nozzle (26), where air is extracted from the second chamber (36) from near the supporting means and drive (16, 20) by means of the fan (30), having the first and second chamber (32, 36) separated one from the other by walls (24), and the fan (30) being of low vortex pattern; with the fan (30) blade disposed inside the first chamber (32) and the fan inlet introduced directly for coupling with the second chamber (36).
