Abstract
A refrigerator comprising a freezing chamber; spec switch chamber capable of setting the storage temperature at a plurality of storage temperature belts including the freezing temperature belt; temperature sensor for freezing chamber, used to detect the temperature of the said freezing chamber; temperature sensor for spec switch chamber, used to detect the temperature of the said spec switch chamber; arrester for controlling the cold air supply from the freezer to the spec switch chamber; control mechanism for controlling the compressor and arrester based on the temperature detected by the temperature sensors; under the circumstance where the spec switch chamber is set under freezing spec, the said control mechanism will enable the compressor to start running when the detected temperature is above the set "on" temperature of any of the aforesaid temperature sensors, and to stop running when the detected temperature is below the set "off" temperature of both of the same sensors; in addition, the control mechanism enables the arrester to open when the detected temperature is above the set "on" temperature of the spec switch chamber temperature sensor, and to close when the detected temperature is below the set "off" temperature of the sensor; under the circumstance where the spec switch chamber is set under the spec other than the freezing spec, the said control mechanism will enable the compressor to start running when the detected temperature is above the set "on" temperature of the freezing chamber temperature sensor, and to stop running when the detected temperature is below the set "off" temperature of the same sensor; in addition, the control mechanism enables the arrester to open when the detected temperature is above the set "on" temperature of the spec switch chamber temperature sensor, and to close when the detected temperature is below the set "off" temperature of the same sensor.
