Abstract

A thin film magnetic head tip, which comprises: a wafer of non-magnetic insulator; a junction located among a plurality of through holes going through the wafer; a base of non-magnetic insulator stacked on the wafer; a core stacked partially within the base to form an azimuth groove; and a coil wound on the core and in the base which comprises two parts each connected to the conductive junction.
