Abstract

A foldable electronic device including a first body, a second body, and a hinge module connecting therebetween is provided. The first and the second bodies are rotated relatively to be folded or unfolded through the hinge module. The hinge module includes a first shaft, two casings, and a linkage set. The first shaft connected to the first body has a protruding portion. The linkage set is pivoted to the casings and has a first slot, and the protruding portion is movably coupled to the first slot. The protruding portion moves from one end to another of the first slot when the first shaft rotates in a first stroke. The first shaft drives the linkage set to separate the casings or to combine the casings when the first shaft rotates in a second stroke.
