Abstract

Description

Motorcycle seat lock assembly protective component

The present invention relates to a seat cushion lock assembly protection component which is installed in a vehicle body of a motorcycle and provides a protection function for a seat cushion lock assembly in the vehicle body.

In various types of motorcycle structures such as two-wheeled motorcycles or three-wheeled motorcycles, a storage box is provided under the seat of the vehicle body. The front end of the seat is pivoted on the front end of the storage box of the vehicle body. A seat lock assembly is provided at the rear end of the storage box of the vehicle body. A lock fastener is provided at the rear end of the seat. After the seat is covered with the storage box, it is locked by the seat lock through the lock fastener. The seat lock assembly is connected to the lock head of the motorcycle head by a driven component combined with a steel cable, so that the seat lock assembly can be unlocked by a key inserted on the lock head.

However, although the seat lock assembly is installed under the vehicle shell at the rear end of the storage box, the seat lock assembly is completely exposed. As shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 5 to Fig. 8, it discloses the use state of one embodiment of the seat cushion lock assembly protection member 7 of the motorcycle of the present invention being set in the motorcycle. As shown in Figures 2 to 4, the seat cushion lock assembly protection member 7 includes a cover shell 70 and a fixing portion 71. The fixing portion 71 is arranged on one side of the cover shell 70. The cover shell 70 has a accommodating space 700, and the accommodating space 700 forms an opening on the front side of the cover shell 70. The seat cushion lock assembly protection member 7 can be positioned by fixing the fixing portion 71 to the frame rod 30 of the vehicle body 1, and the cover shell 70 is sleeved on the outer side of the seat cushion lock assembly 6.

As shown in the embodiment of FIG. 2 to FIG. 4, the housing 70 includes a back plate portion 701, a bottom plate portion 702, a first side plate portion 703 and a second side plate portion 704. A notch 706 connecting the accommodating space 700 is provided between the top side edge of the second side plate portion 704 and the other side edge of the adjacent fixing portion 71. The bottom side edge of the second side plate portion 704 is adjacent to the other side edge of the bottom plate portion 702. The second side plate portion 704 is longer than the first side plate portion 703. The fixing portion 71 has a top plate portion 711 and two convex portions 712 extending forward from the front side edge of the top plate portion 711 and arranged at intervals.

When the seat cushion lock assembly protection member 7 is installed in the use of the motorcycle, as shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 5 to FIG. 10, the seat cushion lock assembly protection member 7 is installed in the outer shell 2 of the body 1 of the motorcycle and is located outside the seat cushion lock assembly 6 assembled below the rack 30 at the rear side of the storage box 5. The top plate portion 711 of the fixing portion 71 abuts against the seat cushion lock assembly 6. The top surface of the frame rod 30 is fixed by screws to the two protrusions 712 of the fixing portion 71 on the top surface of the frame rod 30, so that the seat cushion lock assembly 6 is located below the frame rod 30 and is covered in the accommodation space 700 of the seat cushion lock assembly protection member 7, and the back plate portion 701 of the seat cushion lock assembly protection member 7 is located behind the seat cushion lock assembly 6. On the side, the bottom plate portion 702 of the seat cushion lock assembly protection member 7 is located below the seat cushion lock assembly 6, and the first side plate portion 703 is adjacent to the rear side rod surface of the frame rod 30, so that the threading port 705 below the first side plate portion 703 is connected to the space below the frame rod 30, so as to provide a steel cable 61 connected to the driven component 60 of the seat cushion lock assembly 6 to pass through and provide sufficient activity space for the steel cable 61, and the notch 706 of the second side plate portion 704 of the seat cushion lock assembly protection member 7 cooperates with the frame rod 30, and the second side plate portion 704 extends to the bottom of the frame rod 30 and combines with the frame rod 30 to provide full side protection for one side of the seat cushion lock assembly 6 having the driven component 60.
