Abstract
一種連接器,包括一基座、一傳輸介面、一遮蔽罩以及一屏蔽層。基座具有一插槽。傳輸介面具有一卡合部以及一插板。卡合部卡設在插槽中且插板的一部份突出於基座外。遮蔽罩具有容置空間以及屏蔽層。容置空間用以容納基座與傳輸介面,且屏蔽層電鍍在遮蔽罩的一內側面上。遮蔽罩覆蓋基座與傳輸介面,用以阻擋傳輸介面所產生的電磁波。
Description
本發明是有關於一種連接器,且特別是有關於一種可抑制電磁干擾的連接器。
隨著電子技術的發展,各類電子產品如:電視、電腦、智慧型手及各類通訊設備等已日益普及化。伴隨而來的缺點即是生活環境中充斥著各類電子產品所產生的電磁波,為此,電子產品在電磁干擾與傳輸耐受性問題已逐漸受到政府與企業的關注。
其中,消費性產品尤以無線網路基地台與第三代通用序列匯流排(USB3.0)之間的訊號傳輸干擾較為明顯。為了解決電磁波訊號干擾問題,現有的第三代通用序列匯流排(USB3.0)連接器,會在周圍設置電磁屏蔽罩,以降低電磁波的外洩。然而,現有的電磁屏蔽罩大多採用金屬(馬口鐵材質)以及DIP(Dual In Line Package process)製程,需耗費較多的製作與人工成本。進一步而言,現有電磁屏蔽罩在整體結構上仍存在多個孔隙,造成部分電磁波會從孔隙傳遞至環境中,致使電磁屏蔽的功效受到影響。
此外,現有電磁屏蔽罩外形也容易造成靜電的累積,最後產生靜電放電的問題,將導致傳輸訊號的功能喪失,此說明現有電磁屏蔽罩的接地性不足。
本發明提供一種連接器,可提升電磁屏蔽功效以改善電磁波的洩露與干擾問題,亦可降低人工的需求以減少製作成本。
本發明的連接器適於配置在一電路板上。連接器包括一基座、一傳輸介面、一遮蔽罩以及一屏蔽層。基座具有一插槽,基座適於固定在電路板。傳輸介面具有一卡合部以及一插板。卡合部卡設在插槽中且插板的一部份突出於基座外。遮蔽罩具有容置空間。容置空間用以容納基座與傳輸介面。屏蔽層電鍍在遮蔽罩的一內側面上,遮蔽罩覆蓋基座與傳輸介面,用以阻擋傳輸介面所產生的電磁波。
基於上述,本發明的連接器拆分為基座、傳輸介面以及遮蔽罩。基座採用SMD(surface mount technology)表面黏著技術而適於焊接在電路板上,SMD技術可透過機器自動安裝,以取代過往的人力安裝,以達到降低製作成本以及提升產品良率的目的。進一步而言,本發明採用遮蔽罩容納並覆蓋基座與傳輸介面,並於遮蔽罩內增加屏蔽層,其用以阻擋傳輸介面的電磁波,並將大部分電磁波限制在容置空間內,避免向外傳遞而對於其它電器造成電磁干擾。
為讓本發明的上述特徵和優點能更明顯易懂,下文特舉實施例,並配合所附圖式作詳細說明如下。
圖1是本發明一實施例的連接器的平面示意圖。圖2是圖1的連接器的元件分解示意圖。圖3是圖2的傳輸介面的平面透視示意圖。
請參考圖1,本實施例的連接器100,適於配置在一電路板上。連接器100例如是第三代通用序列匯流排(USB3.0/3.1),用以連接相應規格的接頭或是隨身碟而適於供應電源或傳遞電子訊號。在其它實施例中,連接器也可以是其它類型的匯流排,而非限定在第三代通用序列匯流排(USB3.0/3.1)。補充而言,匯流排指電腦元件間規範化的交換資料的方式,即以一種通用的方式為各元件提供資料傳送和控制邏輯。
請參考圖1至圖3,具體而言,本發明的連接器100包括基座110、傳輸介面120、遮蔽罩130以及屏蔽層131。
基座110具有一插槽S及多個第一接腳111。插槽S凹陷成形在基座110的頂面上。多個第一接腳111分別自插槽S內延伸至基座110外。其中,多個第一接腳111分別對應第三代通用序列匯流排的多個標準腳位(+、-、D+、D-)。多個第一接腳111適於透過SMD(surface mount technology)表面黏著技術而焊接在電路板200上,以電性連接電路板200。
傳輸介面120具有一插板121、一卡合部122以及多個第二接腳123。卡合部122朝下(即,基座110的方向)延伸並卡設在插槽S中。插板121的一部份突出於基座110外,即插板121沿一水平方向PD突出於基座110外。卡合部122垂直於插板121以呈現為L型外觀。多個第二接腳123中分別自插板121延伸至卡合部122,同樣呈現為L型外觀,且多個第二接腳123分別電性耦接於相應的多個第一接腳111。
進一步而言,插板121、卡合部122以及多個接腳123為一體成型結構,且例如是採用射出成型技術,使得多個接腳123埋設在插板121與卡合部122上。
此外,卡合部122的外型與尺寸對應於插槽S的外型與尺寸而適於相互卡接定位。舉例而言,為提升傳輸介面120連接於基座110的結構穩定性,可延長卡合部122的長度尺寸,並對應增加插槽S的深度尺寸。使得傳輸介面120的L型結構可抵抗其它元件的插拔外力。
遮蔽罩130具有容置空間AS以及多個定位柱132。容置空間AS用以容納基座110與傳輸介面120,且屏蔽層131配置在遮蔽罩130的一內側面上,屏蔽層131例如是電鍍在遮蔽罩130的內側面上。多個定位柱132設置在容置空間AS外,且多個定位柱132適於焊接在電路基板200上。以完整包覆基座110、傳輸介面120。
進一步而言,抑制電磁干擾(EMI)大多是採用外殼屏蔽和縫隙屏蔽手段。藉由屏蔽、過濾或接地將干擾產生電路隔離以及增強敏感電路的抗干擾能力等。屏蔽層的材料例如包括:金屬罐、薄金屬片、箔帶、導電織物、塗層(如導電漆及鋅線噴塗等)及鍍層(金屬材質的電鍍、蒸鍍)。
其中,基座110適於固定在電路板200上。當遮蔽罩130覆蓋基座110與傳輸介面120時,遮蔽罩130及屏蔽層131用以阻隔傳輸介面120所產生的電磁波。
參考圖1至圖3,連接器100還具有一外框140,套設在傳輸介面120的插板121外且適於接觸遮蔽罩130的內側面,其中外框140的長度尺寸對應於插板121的延伸長度,而適於完全覆蓋插板121的外圍部位,僅保留連接外部元件的一開口,進而將電磁波的傳遞路徑縮減至最少。
進一步而言,外框140的外側面上配置有導電層141,適於電性耦接遮蔽罩130的屏蔽層131以達到接地功效,進而降低傳輸介面120產生的電磁干擾。
此外,遮蔽罩130採用液晶聚合物(Liquid Crystal Polymer)所製成,相較於現有的工程塑膠具備較佳的機械特性以及耐熱程度。舉例而言,液晶聚合物(Liquid Crystal Polymer)可處在230度至300度的環境溫度下持續使用而不減損其機械強度,此外液晶聚合物(Liquid Crystal Polymer)還具有優異的阻燃性,當遭遇燃燒狀況時,可達到不續燃、不自燃的防護功效。
由於本實施例的遮蔽罩130採用液晶聚合物(Liquid Crystal Polymer),而具有較佳的絕緣特性,其介電強度遠大於現有的金屬材質,故相較於現有的金屬材質遮蔽罩可避免靜電放電(ESD)現象的產生,以此降低元件或連接器100的損壞可能性。
綜上所述,本發明的連接器拆分為基座、傳輸介面以及遮蔽罩。基座採用SMD(surface mount technology)表面黏著技術而適於焊接在電路板上,SMD技術可透過機器自動安裝,以取代過往的人力安裝,以達到降低製作成本以及提升產品良率的目的。進一步而言,本發明採用遮蔽罩容納並覆蓋基座與傳輸介面,並於遮蔽罩內增加屏蔽層,用以阻擋傳輸介面的電磁波,可將大部分電磁波限制在容置空間內,避免向外傳遞而對於其它電器造成電磁干擾。
此外,透過遮蔽罩內部透過電鍍而形成的金屬材質屏蔽層,並加強屏蔽層的接地特性,以此增強對於傳輸介面的電磁波抑制功效。
雖然本發明已以實施例揭露如上,然其並非用以限定本發明,任何所屬技術領域中具有通常知識者,在不脫離本發明的精神和範圍內,當可作些許的更動與潤飾,故本發明的保護範圍當視後附的申請專利範圍所界定者為準。

Claims (10)
- 一種連接器,適於配置在一電路板,該連接器包括: 一基座,具有一插槽,該基座適於固定在該電路板; 一傳輸介面,具有一插板以及一卡合部,該卡合部卡設在該插槽中且該插板的一部份突出於該基座外; 一遮蔽罩,具有一容置空間,該容置空間用以容納該基座與該傳輸介面;以及 一屏蔽層,電鍍在該遮蔽罩的一內側面上,該遮蔽罩覆蓋該基座與該傳輸介面,用以阻隔該傳輸介面所產生的電磁波。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述的連接器,其中該基座具有多個第一接腳,分別自該插槽內延伸至該基座外,該些第一接腳適於焊接在該電路板上。
- 如申請專利範圍第2項所述的連接器,其中該傳輸介面具有多個第二接腳,各該第二接腳自該插板延伸至該卡合部,且該些第二接腳分別電性耦接於該些第一接腳。
