Abstract

The present invention provides a polarizing plate which is thin and suppresses the dimensional change when heating is performed, and it suppresses the occurrence of appearance defects such as cracks in the polarizing film in an environment of repeated high and low temperature. The polarizing plate has a protect film laminated on at least one surface of a polarizing film, wherein a thickness of the polarizing film is 10 [mu]m or less and a puncture strength (P) per unit film thickness is 3.6 gf/[mu]m or more.
