Abstract
The present invention provides a cooling and heating hybrid device having a thermal-lag Stirling engine and its control method. The cooling and heating hybrid device comprises a cylinder enclosing a first working space, a tube, and an action assembly. The tube, connecting to the cylinder, has a heat-discharging part and a heat-absorbing part and encloses a second working space connecting to the first working space and an insertion clearance connecting to the second working space. The insertion clearance is filled with a porous sealing material. The action assembly connecting to the cylinder comprises a single piston and a power source coupled to the piston for driving the piston to reciprocate within the first working space of the cylinder. The porous sealing material provides a temporary storage of heat for the compressed working gas, and therefore no displacer will be necessary. The present invention simplifies the overall construction of the Stirling engine.
