Abstract

Provided is a liquid crystal composition comprising: at least one first compound selected from the group consisting of a compound of formula I-1, a compound of formula I-2 and compositions thereof, and at least one second compound selected from the group consisting of a compound of formula II-1, a compound of II-2, a compound of II-3, a compound of II-4 and compositions thereof. The liquid crystal composition provided has such properties as appropriate optical and dielectric anisotropies, higher cleaning point, wider nematic phase temperature range, small viscosity and excellent high-temperature stability. The liquid crystal composition is applicable to liquid crystal display devices, so that the liquid crystal display has such properties as short response time and excellent display effect at high temperatures.
