Abstract

本發明在此揭示的實施例一般係關於一種容器及容器接合構件,在某些實施例中係關於真空過濾裝置且尤其是關於用於從一個容器通過薄膜過濾液體並將濾液直接沈積在另一個容器中的此種裝置。
許多實驗室裝置已發展為執行過濾,以濃縮、分離、及/或純化實驗室樣品。研究人員在進行其他研究調查之前會依常規需要濃縮其等之樣品。用來過濾生物溶液的裝置一般包含三個主要元件,即介於兩個容器之間的薄膜過濾器;進給容器,位於薄膜之上游用於保持待過濾之樣品溶液;及過濾液容器,位於薄膜之下游用於收集已過濾樣品溶液。通常,會將薄膜之下游抽吸呈真空,藉以產生橫過過濾器之差壓而提高過濾速率。

真空過濾之元件的配置可採取許多形式,但是特別在實驗室設備中,為了避免生物溶液溢出,使用的容易度、儲存需求的減少、及最少的拋棄硬體係重要的考量。在某些其他的應用中,保持已被過濾之溶液的無菌亦很重要。
各種單次使用、用後即棄、無菌的過濾裝置,包含一漏斗及固定於過濾環的蓋子,且具有附加容器之過濾裝置在市場上係可取得。此等裝置之大部分可處理從150ml至1000ml範圍之容積,且提供一含有漏斗及固定到過濾環組合之蓋子的過濾頂部,使得一個人就可以將其等組合到已預先存在的瓶子或容器。該組合與包裝好的瓶蓋袋裝在一起,且藉例如以珈瑪殺菌法殺菌。習知的裝置在過濾完成之後需要1-2轉以將瓶子或容器從過濾器脫接。因為瓶子或容器充滿媒介物,此操作會導致可能的滴水、溢出等,及樣品的汙染。此在層流細胞培養罩中操作時尤然,其中窗框被打開10-18吋且操作係特別地困難。

首先參照第1圖,依照某些實施例顯示,有一具有如圖所示之開放頂部11的容器或殼體10。在顯示的實施例中,容器10為可保持相當大樣品容積如約500毫升的常見圓柱形單件式殼體,然而容積容量並沒有被特別限定。在某些實施例中,容器10為由塑膠製成,如聚氯乙烯、聚碳酸酯、聚對苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)族之一構件(如PETG,PETE)、聚烯烴、特別是聚丙烯,但是亦可由對操作無害的其他適當材料製成(考慮成本及真空強度)。

成可模造性與功能(穩定性及交叉螺鎖之避免)之間的平衡。每一相疊對包含一上方板片(如14a)及一下方板片(如14b),下方板片係與上方板片平行、對齊,且位於上方板片之正下方。在某些實施例中,板片之每一個從頸部13沿徑向往外延伸到相同的程度,且同樣的被成形。在某些實施例中,每一個板片之相對兩端係往內朝向彼此逐漸變細。在某些實施例中,板片之兩相疊對之板片之長度係比第3對疊對之板片長度更短,以確保定向係朝一個方向且容器及接合構件對齊。在某些實施例中,兩相疊對之板片係比第3對疊對之板片長度更短。如第3C圖所示,在某些實施例中,每一個板片包含向下傾斜的斜坡部24,其隨後轉變為一直立部25及一平坦底部26。板片相對於彼此並不連續。在某些實施例中,每一個相疊對係位於頸部13之開放端下方不同的距離。換言之,若下方板片之每一個連接時,最終之假想環件會相對於頸部13之開放端成一角度。同樣地,若上方板片之每一個連接時,最終之假想環件會相對於頸部13之開放端成一角度。在某些實施例中,兩個假想環件相對於頸部13之開放端的角度會相同。
板片14之節距係構成為使得板片能以90度1/4轉與適當的接合構件作接合或脫接,且亦可與具有完全360度或更多轉的傳統之接合構件(如具有0.1667英吋螺距之標準鋸齒形紋螺釘)接合。螺距係定義對應於完全360°之z軸(深度)的移動。螺紋起始(在第1螺紋之深度開始)及螺紋導角(第1螺紋開始的角度)係構成為確保
止部在棘爪被接合之後且接合構件密封48完全接合之後被接合。更具體地,如第5B圖所示,在某些實施例中,如發泡墊圈之密封48安裝成當凸環40相對於本體12被轉動到容器上而接觸頸部13之自由端的平坦表面時會被凸環40所壓縮。同樣地,如第7A圖所示,在某些實施例中,蓋子60含有一密封48’,其包含突環之特徵,當被壓縮時與瓶子頸部13之內側壁接合。
頸部13亦包含沿徑向往外延伸之周部凸緣30。在某些實施例中,凸緣比板片14沿徑向往外延伸一更遠的距離。在某些實施例中,凸緣30與頸部13之底部隔開,亦即,凸緣30位於在頸部13轉接到容器10之本體12的區域之正上方。在某些實施例中,凸緣30包含兩個隔開的板片31a、31b,較佳為彼此間隔開180°。每一個板片包含一徑向延伸的頂部32,此頂部32從凸緣30往上延伸且沿徑向往外從頸部13與凸緣30一起共同延伸。每一個板片亦包含徑向延伸之底部33,此底部33沿徑向往外從凸緣30之邊緣延伸且止於自由端34。板片31a、31b與凸環40上之某些元件合作(下面將討論)用來在凸環40與容器10之間、或蓋子60與容器10之間形成卡合。
轉回第3A及4圖,顯示凸環40。在某些實施例中,凸環40係構成與容器10之頸部13接合。在某些實施例中,凸環40通常係圓柱形且包含頂部39(第5A圖)具有支撐如玻璃纖維之過濾元件或薄膜(未圖示)(例如DURAPORE®0.45μm薄膜)之複數個隔開的徑向肋44
等。在某些實施例中,凸環40亦支撐經由凸環40中之複數個通孔與容器10作流體連通之樣品儲槽(未圖示)。凸環可安裝成經由入口管38與如真空之驅動力相通。
在凸環40中有一從凸環40之頂部的底側軸向延伸之內圓柱形構件41。在某些實施例中,圓柱形構件41係位於凸環40之中央且係一頸部接合構件。在某些實施例中,圓柱形構件41之內壁42包含複數個間隔之螺紋或螺旋狀刮板45沿徑向往內從內壁42延伸,且構成用於容納容器10之頸部13的板片14。在某些實施例中,螺紋45相對於彼此為不連續。在某些實施例中,有9個間隔之螺紋45位於3個軸向相疊群中,每一相疊群係與其他相疊群等距間隔。每一相疊群包含第1螺紋(如螺紋45a)、第2中間螺紋(如螺紋45b)、及第3螺紋(如螺紋45c),第2及第3螺紋係與第1螺紋45a平行且對齊,且位在其正下方(當凸環40在直立位置時)。在某些實施例中,圓柱形構件41亦包含函蓋靠近其底部之圓柱形構件41的整個內周之全螺紋45’。在某些實施例中,螺紋45之每一個沿徑向往外從壁42延伸到相同程度,且螺紋被形成相同形狀。在某些實施例中,螺紋之兩相疊群在長度上比第3相疊群之螺紋更短,比確保定向係在一個方向且容器及接合構件對齊成一直線。在某些實施例中,在長度上比第3相疊群之螺紋更短螺紋之兩相疊群的長度係相等。在某些實施例中,每一個螺紋之相對兩端往內朝向彼此逐漸變細。在某些實施例中,每一個螺紋46包含一過渡到直立部47之往上傾斜的斜坡部
46。當凸環40接合在頸部13上之時,螺紋之往上傾斜的斜坡部接觸對應之板片14之往下傾斜的斜坡部24。
第4圖之細部放大圖顯示某些實施例之卡合特徵50。卡合特徵50與板片31a、31b合作在凸環40及容器10之間形成卡合。在某些實施例中,卡合特徵50係形成在圓柱形構件41之自由端49,且包含升起的卡珠51、凹口52及升起的止動構件53。在某些實施例中,有兩個此種卡合特徵50間隔180°,每一個均可與容器10之板片31a、31b的個別一個合作。由於凸環40相對於容器10轉動,板片31a沿著凸環40之自由端49移動到被升起的卡珠51軸向提起為止。朝相同方向之進一步相對轉動會造成板片31a騎到卡珠51上方(形成對使用者之反饋)且掉入凹口52中。更進一步之相對轉動使板片31a抵住升起的止動構件53之側壁54,造成一後障(backstop)。板片31a抵住側壁54形成可聽到之「卡搭」聲而反饋到使用者,以警告使用者停止轉動,藉此而防止過度施加扭力。板片將停留在凹口52中直到充分的力產生,使得板片31a可克服卡珠51之高度為止。在某些實施例中,此充分的力係定義為可輕易且毫不費力地克服卡珠之高度,此在使用性研究中證明能由5%成年婦女及95%成年男性達成。當凸環40在容器10上位於關閉位置時,板片31a因而停在凹口52之區域中,並且升起的卡珠51被升起一充分的量到以阻止板片31a從凹口52之區域過早或非所要之鬆放。板片31b依相同方式與其他卡合特徵合作。
在某些實施例中,圓柱形構件41包含一或多個(圖示為二個)轉動限制構件如從圓柱形構件41沿軸向延伸的板片55a、55b,如第3A及4圖所示。轉動限制構件55a、55b位於圓柱形構件41之螺紋鬆放區57。轉動限制構件55a、55b與容器10上板片31a、31b之底部33互相作用且當凸環40從容器10脫接時阻止凸環40與容器10之相對轉動。當頸部13上之板片14a、14b、14c及14d位於圓柱形構件41之螺紋鬆放區57內時,此提供了對使用者之反饋,而不再與螺紋45a、45b及45c接合,且因而凸環40可沿軸向升起離開容器10而移除。若沒有此特徵的話,螺紋45會在凸環40與容器10之相對轉動超過90°時再度與板片14接合。在某些實施例中,轉動限制構件55亦用來協助容器接合構件相對於容器之適當定位以接合零件。例如,當此等零件被湊在一起時,轉動限制構件可被定位在該頸部之間隔且不連續的板片14之間的區域中(此區域係為形成在容器本體之記號9(第5圖))。然後容器沿軸向相對於容器接合構件移動,接著將容器相對於頸部接合構件轉動90°以使容器之板片與頸部接合構件之螺紋接合。
在某些實施例中,有3個間隔的螺紋鬆放區57及3個螺紋45的間隔群。此允許容器10在凸環40之底部上落入單一的全螺紋45’中。容器10之相對旋轉及凸環40將可進一步與所有的螺紋接合。
在某些實施例中,容器10具有蓋子係有利的。使用者通常將介質儲存在容器10中有幾週的時間,
且定期地到容器10中進給細胞。從而,蓋子/容器介面往往係裝置之主要介面,且必須符合人體工學設計。現回到第6圖,顯示一蓋子60。在某些實施例中,蓋子60包含一常見的圓柱本體62及從本體62以角度突出之環形鐘狀底部區域63。在某些實施例中,蓋子60包含複數個間隔的鰭片61從本體62沿徑向往外延伸,且與環形環件64相關的關連半徑能使蓋子符合人體體工學地握住,而能以一手例如一單一指頭尤其穿戴手套時將蓋子60組合在容器10之頸部13上或拆卸。例如,使用者之指頭方便地套合在鰭片61之間的區域,可促進蓋子60相對於容器10之相對轉動。鰭片61亦使得蓋子60停駐在其側邊,以減少污染之機會。
在某些實施例中,蓋子60之本體62的內部包含單一連續的螺紋66。螺紋66能作自由旋轉操作;相對於容器10施加一微量的旋轉力到蓋子60,即充分可相對於容器10轉動蓋子60,而足以使蓋子60從容器10脫接。
在某些實施例中,蓋子60包含卡合特徵50’。卡合特徵50’與容器10之板片31a、31b合作在蓋子60及容器10之間形成卡合。在某些實施例中,卡合特徵50’係形成在圓柱形本體62之表面上被轉換為鐘形底部區域63處,且包含升起的卡珠51’、凹口52’及升起的止動構件53’。在某些實施例中,具有兩個此種卡合特徵50’間隔180°,每一個均可與容器10之板片31a、31b的個別一個合作。由於蓋子60相對於容器10轉動,
板片31a靠近卡合特徵50’直到被升起的卡珠51’軸向提起為止。朝相同方向之進一步相對轉動會造成板片31a掉入凹口52’中。更進一步之相對轉動使板片31a抵住升起的止動構件53’之側壁54’,造成一後障(backstop)。板片31a抵住側壁54’形成可聽到之「卡搭」聲及接觸而反饋到使用者,以警告使用者停止轉動,藉此而防止過度施加扭力。當蓋子60位在容器10上之關閉位置時,板片31a將停留在凹口52’中,且升起的卡珠51’被升起一充分的量到以阻止板片31a從凹口52’之區域過早或非所要之鬆放。板片31b依相同方式與其他卡合特徵合作。
第8至10圖顯示與容器10接合之蓋子的另一實施例。依照本實施例,設置一種卡鎖特徵,當其與容器10之鎖特徵接合時會沿徑向往外彎曲。如第8圖所示,懸臂式卡鎖構件51”從升起的止動構件53”沿徑向往外定位,且沿周向從該處偏置(例如偏心一板片31a之厚度)。在某些實施例中,懸臂式卡鎖構件51”被形成在蓋子60之環形鐘狀底部區域63的凹處510中,且沿軸向從該處突出。如第8圖中可看出,懸臂式卡鎖構件51”之緣被倒角,且懸臂式卡鎖構件51”在其徑向往內的表面與容器10上之板片31a的徑向往外表面接合時可徑向往外彎曲,如第9圖中所示。在某些實施例中,有兩個此種卡鎖構件間隔180°,每一個均可與容器10之板片31a、31b的個別一個合作。
由於蓋子60相對於容器10轉動,(更具體為板片31a之徑向延伸的底部33)跨騎在倒角的緣上而迫使卡鎖構件51”徑向往外。如第10A圖所示,板片31a與卡鎖構件51”之間進行初期接觸(例如在約11°處)。第10B圖顯示蓋子60及容器10之繼續相對轉動會造成卡鎖構件51”徑向往外折曲。第10C圖顯示在更進一步相對轉動時,板片31a不再與卡鎖構件51”接觸,且隨後返回其原來位置。在第10C圖顯示的位置中,板片31a(更具體為板片31a之徑向延伸的頂部32)抵住升起的止動構件53”之側壁54”,造成一後障。板片31a與止動構件53”之相抵住形成可聽到之「卡搭」聲及接觸而反饋到使用者,以警告使用者停止轉動,藉此而防止過度施加扭力。

Claims (11)
- 一種容器及容器接合構件,該容器具有容器本體及開放頸部,該開放頸部包括複數個沿徑向從該頸部延伸之呈間隔、且不連續的板片;該容器接合構件包括一具有頸部接合構件的本體,該頸部接合構件包括複數個呈間隔、且不連續的螺紋,其構成該頸部與該頸部接合構件在相對轉動時與該呈間隔、且不連續之板片接合。
- 如請求項1之容器及容器接合構件,其中該板片被安裝成複數個相疊對,每一相疊對係與另一對相疊呈對等距間隔。
- 如請求項2之容器及容器接合構件,其中每一該相疊對包括一上板片及一下板片,該下板片係與該上板片平行且對齊,並且位於該上板片之正下方。
- 如請求項2之容器及容器接合構件,其中每一該板片包括向下傾斜的斜坡部,其會轉變為一直立部。
- 如請求項1之容器及容器接合構件,其中該容器接合構件包括一用於關閉該容器之蓋子。
- 如請求項1之容器及容器接合構件,其中該容器另包括一從該頸部沿徑向往外延伸之周向凸緣,該凸緣包括複數個間隔之板片。
- 如請求項6之容器及容器接合構件,其中每一該板片包括沿徑向延伸之頂部,其從該凸緣向上且從該頸部沿徑向往外延伸,以及沿徑向延伸之底部,其從該凸緣沿徑向往外延伸且止於一自由端。
- 如請求項6之容器及容器接合構件,其中該頸部接合構件包括升起的卡珠、凹口及升起的止動構件,其等與該諸板片合作以在該頸部與該頸部接合構件之間形成卡合。
- 如請求項6之容器及容器接合構件,其中該頸部接合構件包括至少一個轉動限制構件,其從該頸部接合構件沿軸向延伸且鄰接抵頂於該板片之該凸緣上,以防止該頸部接合構件及容器朝一個方向而相對轉動。
- 如請求項6之容器及容器接合構件,其中該頸部接合構件包括一懸臂式卡鎖構件及一升起的止動構件,該懸臂式卡鎖構件係從該升起的止動構件沿徑向往外定位。
- 一種將接合構件與容器接合的方法,包括:設置一具有容器本體及開放頸部之容器,該開放頸部包括複數個沿徑向從該頸部延伸之呈間隔、且不連續之板片;設置一容器接合構件,包括一本體,其具有頸部接合構件,該頸部接合構件包括複數個呈間隔、且不連續之螺紋,其係構成在該頸部與該頸部接合構件相對轉動時與呈間隔、且不連續之該板片接合,並包括至少一個轉動限制構件,其從該頸部接合構件沿軸向延伸;將該容器接合構件安裝在該容器上方,使得該轉動限制構件之至少一者被定位在該頸部之呈間隔且不連續的該板片之間; 相對於該頸部接合構件而轉動該容器90°,以將該容器之該板片與該頸部接合構件之該螺紋接合。
