Abstract

一種具有兩個顯示介面的主機板，包括繪圖卡控制器、連接顯示控制器的訊號切換晶片、連接訊號切換晶片的第一及第二顯示介面及一電阻，第一顯示介面的偵測引腳經電阻連接電壓源，當監視器連接第一顯示介面時，訊號切換晶片接收低電平偵測訊號並將從繪圖卡控制器接收到的圖像訊號透過第一顯示介面提供給監視器，當監視器連接第二顯示介面時，訊號切換晶片接收高電平偵測訊號並將從繪圖卡控制器接收到的圖像訊號透過第二顯示介面提供給監視器。

Description

具有兩個顯示介面的主機板
本發明係關於一種主機板，尤指一種具有兩個顯示介面的主機板。
習知的伺服器的主機板上的顯示介面通常裸露於機箱的後部，以連接一監視器來對伺服器的運行狀態進行監控。然而，由於伺服器的機櫃的後部的空間一般較為狹小，該將給連接監視器帶來很大不便。
鑒於以上內容，有必要提供一種具有兩個顯示介面的主機板，以方便與監視器的連接。
一種具有兩個顯示介面的主機板，包括一繪圖卡控制器、一訊號切換晶片、一第一顯示介面、一第二顯示介面及一電阻，該第一或第二顯示介面用於連接一監視器的顯示連接器，該繪圖卡控制器連接該訊號切換晶片，該訊號切換晶片連接該第一及第二顯示介面，該第一顯示介面的偵測引腳經該電阻連接一電壓源；當該監視器的顯示連接器連接至該第一顯示介面時，該訊號切換晶片從該第一顯示介面的偵測引腳接收到一低電平的偵測訊號，該訊號切換晶片將從該繪圖卡控制器接收到的圖像訊號透過該第一顯示介面提供給該監視器，當該監視器的顯示連接器連接至該第二顯示介面時，該訊號切換晶片從該第一顯示介面的偵測引腳接收到一高電平的偵測訊號，該訊號切換晶片將從該繪圖卡控制器接收到的圖像訊號透過該第二顯示介面提供給該監視器。
該具有兩個顯示介面的主機板透過該訊號切換晶片獲得該第一顯示介面的偵測引腳的偵測訊號並根據該第一或第二偵測訊號將從該繪圖卡控制器接收到的圖像訊號透過該第一顯示介面或第二顯示介面提供給該監視器。該主機板能夠根據需要選擇性的使用該第一顯示介面或第二顯示介面，以方便與監視器的連接。

請參考圖1，本發明具有兩個顯示介面的主機板100的較佳實施方式包括繪圖卡控制器110、訊號切換晶片120、第一顯示介面130、第二顯示介面140及電阻R1。在本實施方式中，該具有兩個顯示介面的主機板100上的其他電子元件與通常伺服器主機板上的電子元件相同，在此不再贅述。該第一顯示介面130設置在該電伺服器主機板的前端，該第二顯示介面140設置在該伺服器主機板的後端，亦就是說，當主機板放置於伺服器機箱內時，第一顯示介面130裸露於機箱的前端，第二顯示介面140裸露於機箱的後端。在本實施方式中，該第一及第二顯示介面130及140均為VGA介面，用於連接一監視器200的顯示連接器210。
該繪圖卡控制器110連接該訊號切換晶片120，以輸出圖像訊號給該訊號切換晶片120。該訊號切換晶片120還連接該第一及第二顯示介面130及140，以透過該第一顯示介面130或第二顯示介面140提供圖像訊號給該監視器200。該第一顯示介面130的偵測引腳PRES_N經該電阻R1連接一電壓源VCC。
使用時，當該監視器200的顯示連接器210連接至該第一顯示介面130時，由於該顯示連接器210對應該第一顯示介面130的偵測引腳PRES_N的引腳211接地，因此，當該顯示連接器210連接至該第一顯示介面130時，該第一顯示介面130的偵測引腳PRES_N接地，該訊號切換晶片120從該第一顯示介面130的偵測引腳PRES_N接收到一低電平訊號，該訊號切換晶片120將從該繪圖卡控制器110接收到的圖像訊號透過該第一顯示介面130提供給該監視器200。
當該監視器200的顯示連接器210連接至該第二顯示介面140時，此時該第一顯示介面130的偵測引腳PRES_N透過該電阻R1連接該電壓源VCC，此時該訊號切換晶片120從該第一顯示介面130的偵測引腳PRES_N接收到一高電平訊號，該訊號切換晶片120將從該繪圖卡控制器110接收到的圖像訊號透過該第二顯示介面140提供給該監視器200。
該具有兩個顯示介面的主機板100透過該訊號切換晶片120獲得該第一顯示介面130的偵測引腳PRES_N的偵測訊號，並根據該偵測訊號將從該繪圖卡控制器110接收到的圖像訊號透過該第一顯示介面130或第二顯示介面140提供給該監視器200。該具有兩個顯示介面的主機板100能夠根據需要選擇性的使用該第一顯示介面130或第二顯示介面140，以方便與監視器的連接。

Claims (3)

  1. 一種具有兩個顯示介面的主機板，包括一繪圖卡控制器、一訊號切換晶片、一第一顯示介面、一第二顯示介面及一電阻，該第一或第二顯示介面用於連接一監視器的顯示連接器，該繪圖卡控制器連接該訊號切換晶片，該訊號切換晶片連接該第一及第二顯示介面，該第一顯示介面的偵測引腳經該電阻連接一電壓源；當該監視器的顯示連接器連接至該第一顯示介面時，該訊號切換晶片從該第一顯示介面的偵測引腳接收到一低電平的偵測訊號，該訊號切換晶片將從該繪圖卡控制器接收到的圖像訊號透過該第一顯示介面提供給該監視器，當該監視器的顯示連接器連接至該第二顯示介面時，該訊號切換晶片從該第一顯示介面的偵測引腳接收到一高電平的偵測訊號，該訊號切換晶片將從該繪圖卡控制器接收到的圖像訊號透過該第二顯示介面提供給該監視器。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之具有兩個顯示介面的主機板，其中當該主機板放置於伺服器機箱內時，該第一顯示介面裸露於伺服器機箱的前部，該第二顯示介面裸露於伺服器機箱的後部。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第2項所述之具有兩個顯示介面的主機板，其中該第一及第二顯示介面均為VGA介面。
