Abstract

The invention provides a sewing machine that can easily adjust time for a middle kettle. The sewing machine is provided with a locking unit (24) that locks drive of a sewing machine motor in stop state of the sewing machine motor (23); a kettle adjusting module conversion switch (26) for adjusting to a kettle adjusting mode for the middle kettle (6). A rotary angle position of a predetermined sewing machine main shaft (22) in the kettle adjusting mode is stored in a storage section (33). A control unit (31) under condition of being converted to the kettle adjusting mode via the sewing machine motor (23) makes the sewing machine main shaft (22) be located at the rotary angle position in the storage section (33). Then the locking unit (24) is driven to prevent drive of the sewing machine motor (23) to make the sewing machine main shaft (22) at the rotary angle position in the storage section (33) be in the stop state.
